In honor of it being “World Pageant Day”- yes, that’s a thing- here’s a very dramatic 18 year-old me competing in a Miss Tennessee Preliminary Pageant.
Why I chose to sing a @xtina song, I will never know.
Definitely a bold move.
Also, I was really bad at pageants, but I did learn stage presence, interview skills, and the importance of butt glue.

My mom thought I should be a model, and this is one of the promo pics.
I was so insecure and unsure of myself… I was constantly made fun of for being small-chested, having a bigger booty and quads, having a donkey laugh, and just being kind of a weirdo in general.

I want to go back and hug this girl, and tell her that what makes you “weird” also makes you awesome.

And to anyone who ever made fun of me, thank you.
You motivated me to be all I could be, and I think the 18 year-old girl in this photo would be excited as heck if she knew what were to come.

Also, my chest is still flat. It’s nice not having to spend money on bras.

Considering this is Angel’s second time on cows, I’m proud as hell of her. She loves bossing them about!
It’s one of the things I love best about Arabian horses and Arabian crosses- they can do it all, and look extra pretty while doing it.

4 years ago, my husband bought a horse. I was expecting some old ranch/trail horse, but no… he bought an Appendix/Arabian named “My Big Spender” aka “Moses” and it was probably the best decision my husband ever made.
(Aside from marrying me, obviously 😂)
This horse is one sexy beast that can do it all- from hunt seat to western to ranch to trail, and looks glorious doing it.
Thankfully, my husband lets me steal him every now and again for a little joy ride.
