Brandon had an MRI on his brain yesterday, and the results are… NORMAL!!!
Such a huge relief.
So, no Cerebral Palsey, Muscular Dystrophy, or any of the other things the doctors were terrifying us with these past few months.
He’s just got a mild developmental delay- most likely due to his past hearing loss- and is quickly overcoming that.
He may be on the spectrum, but it’s too soon to tell at this point, as he’s lost almost a year of development due to being unable to hear properly. I’ve just been told to wait.
Honestly, he’s a true blessing, and will start pre-school soon, and I can’t wait to see who he becomes.
It’s been a rough few months on me mentally, but I feel so much better now knowing my dude is fine. Just on his own timeline.
Sometimes you have to fight hard for those you love most, but it’s always worth it.
