Just a reminder as school starts back… let your kids know that some kids are different, and that’s totally ok.

Brandon- who has Sensory Processing Disorder as well as a language delay due to hearing loss- is about to start back to school. Lately, more kids around his age have been asking why he is like he is or does what he does- in front of him.
He doesn’t care. Yet.
I get they are curious, as I would be.
Please, have conversations with your kiddos about that not everyone is just like them, and that’s totally ok.

Life is hard enough. Let’s make it easier on kids (and parents!) who have neurological differences.

Diversity is kind of awesome, after all. 🩵
