aerosmith and friends

Aerosmith is back!

Well, sort of.

They took to the stage Thursday night for the first of two “Aerosmith and Friends” concerts, featuring a star-studded line up- everyone from Aerosmith to Guns N’ Roses to Billy Idol and so many more taking the stage this past Thursday and tomorrow, November 1st.

This is a big deal, as Aerosmith had to cancel their “Peace Out” tour a couple years ago due to Steven Tyler breaking his larynx a few shows in.

Steven went through a lot these past two years trying to get that voice back, and Thursday night he took to the stage to perform the iconic “Dream On” with the band:

Ok, first off, Steven is 78.

The fact that he can do any of this is amazing.

All these guys deserve a kudos for their badassery.

Aerosmith has always been one of my favorite bands, and I’m just glad they are still performing in any capacity, and not faking it AT ALL.

MAD RESPECT.

Also, comedian Bill Burr who is emceeing the event says that this weekend marks the final two shows in Aerosmith history.

I hope not.

But I understand if it is.

Go out with a bang, and this is certainly the way to do it.

Can’t wait to see who takes the stage tomorrow night.

Long live Rock and Roll!!!!!
