bad wolves

And the tributes keep rolling in…

This one is by rock band Bad Wolves, who are known for their covers (like their badass version of The Cranberries “Zombie”)  and they just released their version of the late, great Dolly Parton’s “Jolene” with approved vocals from Dolly on the track.

They had been working on the song prior to Dolly’s passing, with hopes to have her on the track.

Sadly, that didn’t happen. For obvious reasons.

But after her passing, her estate approved previously recorded vocals, and it was mixed down to a pretty cool version of the Country classic.

Now, all proceeds to this version of “Jolene” go to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. And all the teens featured in the music video are from the Nashville School of Rock, as Dolly would have wanted.
