The “Baby” Song

One of my favorite online creators is “There I Ruined It” on YouTube.

It’s mainly mashups, and proper use of AI – you know, like making Hank Williams sing Beyonce, or Johnny Cash covering “Barbie Girl”.

The latest masterpiece is the “Baby” song, which is basically a mash-up of singers singing “Baby” in the lyrics.

Pretty simple, but for some reason, oddly entertaining.

This is where I’m at in life:

Yes, my maturity level is top notch.

Conway Fitty!

“There, I Ruined It”- one of my favorite content creators- has done it again!

This time he combined the legendary Conway Twitty with Rapper Fifty Cent for an Old-School Country version of “In Da Club”.

Yes, this is entirely necessary:

You’re welcome for this.

Joan Jett/Alanis Morissette Mash-Up

You know I love a good mash-up, so let’s kick off the week with a solid from DJ Cummerbund featuring two badass women: Joan Jett and Alanis Morissette.

Behold “Hate Myself For Loving You Outgha Know”:

Pretty awesome, right?

The mash-up is in celebration of Joan Jett and Alanis Morrisettes’ “Triple Moon Tour” which kicks off next week.

Also, I still can’t get over that Dave Coulier (Uncle Joey from “Full House”) inspired “You Oughta Know”.

Who knew Uncle Joey could inspire such emotional rage?

Dirty Deeds Around the Christmas Tree

I love a good mash-up, And Bill McClintock is kind of a master of the art.

His latest gem?

AC/DC’s “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap” with Brenda Lee’s “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree”.

It is somehow perfect.

There’s your Christmas Cheer for the day!

Also, congrats to Brenda Lee on having the #1 song on the Billboard Hot 100 this week with “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” 65 years after it’s release.

Kiss/Earth Wind & Fire Mash-Up

I, like many, love a good mash-up.

This one may be in my Top 10 right now.

Kiss’s “I Was Made for Loving You” and Earth, Wind, & Fire’s “Boogie Wonderland”?

I mean, come on. Does it get any better than this?

Short answer: No.

Don’t lie. You were jamming like crazy to that, and it’s totally ok.

You’re welcome.

Happy Sunday!

Big S/O to Bill McClintock on YouTube for posting this!!!
