Kiss

Country KISS!

Did you know that KISS once recorded a Country and Western song?

Me either.

Apparently, back in 1975, KISS recorded a Country/Western song called “Mistake”, and they included it on their “Dressed to Kill” 50th Anniversary Box Set.

It’s not horrible, either:

Yeah, that’s actually pretty damn cool. I’m glad they put it on their new box set.

Also, here’s Paul Stanley performing an acoustic version on the KISS Cruise a decade ago:

The “Dressed to Kill” 50th Anniversary Super Deluxe box set is available now on major streaming services, with CD and vinyl editions available for pre-order on the official Kiss website.

Broken Peach “Call Me/I Was Made For Lovin’ You”

I just now discovered Broken Peach and I am already obsessed.

Broken Peach is a rock and sould band that specializes in mash-ups and having thier own unique sound, which is rare for a cover band.

Check out their latest release- a mash-up of Blondie’s “Call Me” and Kiss “I Was Made For Loving You”.

This is easily the coolest thing I have seen/heard in a while:

Absolutely the coolest.

Now excuse me while I dive down the rabbit hole on this incredible band.

Kiss/Earth Wind & Fire Mash-Up

I, like many, love a good mash-up.

This one may be in my Top 10 right now.

Kiss’s “I Was Made for Loving You” and Earth, Wind, & Fire’s “Boogie Wonderland”?

I mean, come on. Does it get any better than this?

Short answer: No.

Don’t lie. You were jamming like crazy to that, and it’s totally ok.

You’re welcome.

Happy Sunday!

Big S/O to Bill McClintock on YouTube for posting this!!!
