Taylor Swift “Opalite”

As we ALL know, Taylor Swift has dropped her new album “The Life of a Showgirl” today, and I have to say, I kind of love it.

She’s back to “Fun Pop Star” Taylor, which is the version I like best.

The past few albums “The Tortured Poets Department” and “Midnights” weren’t really my style. But this one? YES!

One of my favorite tracks so far is “Opalite”- and of course, it’s about her fiance’ Kansas City Chiefs Tight End Travis Kelce:

I just love the late 80’s/early 90’s pop vibes and the lyrics. One thing about Taylor is that she always writes beautifully, and her songs set up visualizers in your head. Which, to me, is a mark of a great song.

No lazy songwriting for this woman!

“The Life of a Showgirl” is out now, and let’s be real… it’s Taylor’s world. We’re just living in it.

“Landman” Season 2 Official Trailer!

It’s almost here!

“Landman” Season 2 hits Paramount + on November 16th, and the official trailer was released this week, and it’s got me all kinds of ready!

Behold:

Looks pretty freaking great, doesn’t it?

Season 1 was fantastic, and I can’t wait for more.

Seriously, it’s worth paying extra for Paramount + for…

And I totally just rhymed there.

Morgan Wallen “I Got Better” Music Video

Morgan Wallen just released the music video for his latest single “I Got Better”, and I have a feeling the ladies will be all about it…

Someone has been hitting the gym, am I right?

I think the appeal of Morgan Wallen as a sex symbol is that he looks like your average guy. Seriously, he looks like he could be my husband’s cousin or something.

Also, his latest album “I’m the Problem” is by far the biggest-selling album of 2025 so far. The only person who can beat him is Taylor Swift- who drops her new album “The Life of a Showgirl” on Friday.

It’ll be fun to see who ends up winning the sales battle. It’s going to be close.

Ella Langley “Wish I Didn’t Know Now”

Ella Langley is quickly becoming one of the best new Country artists on the Nashville scene, and this version she just released of the Toby Keith classic “Wish I Didn’t Know Now” proves why she’s here:

Oh damn girl…

I’ve always loved this song (90’s Toby Keith was IT), and Ella made it her own, and seriously, this should just go on and be a radio single.
