Benson Boone and Brian May Perform “Bohemian Rhapsody/Beautiful Things:

This. Is. Awesome.

Benson Boone- easily one of the most talented new artists on the scene right now- was joined once again by Brian May, the iconic guitarist of Queen, in London this week.

They performed “Bohemian Rhapsody” at Coachella together earlier this year, and they performed that song right into Benson Boone’s massive 2024 hit “Beautiful Things”, and Brian spiced up the end with a rocking guitar solo, because, it’s Brian Freaking May:

 

Now, THAT was cool.

Benson Boone is like a straight Freddie Mercury with killer abs, am I right?

Also, is it weird that I still have a bit of a crush on Brian May?

Nah, didn’t think so.

Also, if Adam Lambert ever leaves Queen, Benson would be the perfect choice as a frontman, right?

Very, VERY few vocalists could pull that off, but I believe Benson easily could.

A girl can dream, right?

Ok, I LOVE Queen- one of my favorite bands of all-time- and I adore Benson Boone. He is one of the most talented and unique newer artists out there, and worlds collided last night at Coachella.

After Brian May teased a potential collab yesterday on instagram, he joined Benson onstage for one hell of a version of Queen’s iconic “Bohemian Rhapsody” with a full choir. It’s pretty freaking great:

Dang.

 

Ok, we all know that there will never be another Freddie Mercury, but Benson Boone still sang the hell out of the song, and did one heck of a great tribute.

Also, Brian May is life. Is it weird that I have always had a crush on him?

Also, if you’re like ,”Who the heck is Benson Boone”?

Kelly Clarkson Covers Benson Boone’s “Beautiful Things”

Kelly Clarkson is an absokutely incredible vocalist.

Say what you will about her, but girlfriend can SING.

And she just went next level on those vocal skills with her cover of the hit song by Benson Boone “Beautiful Things” on “The Kelly Clarkson Show”.

Kelly isn’t playing around here. Those notes are insanely hard to pull off, but she does it with ease.

Also, her band is amazing.

Kudos, Kelly.

I really love this segment on her show, and she is earning all those Daytime Emmy Awards!

Emmy Russell Performs Benson Boone’s “Beautiful Things” on “American Idol”

Ok, I still don’t watch “American Idol” as I used to. I’m just going to throw it out there.

But, I can’t help but check out some of the trending videos from this season, and Hot Damn, Loretta Lynn’s Grandaughter Emmy Russell is on heck of a talent.

The show is now onto it’s Top 24 contestants as of this week, and Emmy just pretty much owned this version of Benson Boone’s current hit “Beautiful Things”:

First of all, I love this song, as it embodies how I feel about being a mother, and really, all of the good things in my life. I have been blessed, and in having been so, there is always that feeling that I have everything to lose. This song captures that feeling perfectly, as does Emmy’s verson of it.

Her voice and style is incredibly unique, and she’s one heck of a songwriter as well. Then again, she has some pretty solid genetics helping her out.

She is her own artist, and I’m sure her Grandmother is cheering hard in Heaven.

Fun fact, Benson Boone was a contestant on Idol a few years back, and he quit because he wanted to do his own thing.

I have a feeling that no matter her placing on the show, you will hear from Emmy for years to come. I’m seriously impressed by her.
