Ozzy Osbourne Full Grammy Tribute

This past Sunday night it was the 2026 Grammy Awards, and it was… The Grammys.

Lots of politics, bad red carpet fashion, save for a few, some meh performances, some weird ones (hello, Justin Bieber) and then there are always a few gems amongst the strangeness that is The Grammys.

The Ozzy Osbourne tribute was by far the best part of the night.

Post Malone, Duff McKagan, Slash, Chad Smith, and Andrew Watt.

They did one hell of a job in my opinion.

Enjoy:

Can we have more of this at The Grammy’s please?

More entertainment, and less “WTF did I just watch?” moments.

That’s all I want.

Sincerely,

A Music Lover

Bruno Mars, Slash, and Duff McKagan Covering Nirvana

Last week, there was a private holiday party in Los Angeles for billionaire Todd Boehly of the holding company Eldridge Industries.

So, who would a billionaire hire for entertainment?

An all-star cover band featuring Bruno Mars, Slash, Duff McKagan, Eddie Vedder, Anthony Keidis and Brandi Carlisle.

Holy freaking macaroni.

One of the notable performances of the evening?

Bruno Mars smashing a cover of Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit” with Slash and Duff on Guns N’ Roses:

Ok, Bruno Mars needs to put out a rock album, like, yesterday.

I’m blown away over here.

I’m also insanely jealous of who got to see this magic live.

Sigh.

It’s good to be rich!

Sabrina Carpenter “Sweet Child of Mine”

Sabrina Carpenter is easily one of the biggest pop stars today.

Which, really, is why it’s so fun to see throwback videos to when she started.

Like this epic, terrible quality video of her performing “Sweet Child of Mine” in 2010 when she was just 10 years old.

She actually did pretty well, considering…

As a Guns N’ Roses fan, I appreciate it.

Of course, Sabrina Carpenter’s music now is totally on the other end of the spectrum, in the sexy, bubblegum pop genre.

But maybe, just maybe, since this video is making the rounds, she can give this song a go again?

I’d be down for it.

Also, Sabrina’s new album “Man’s Best Friend” drops August 29th.

So, yeah, there’s no getting away from this girl!

Billy Joel and Axl Rose Perform at Madison Square Garden!

I’ll take TWO Legends at Madison Square Garden, please.

Last night, Billy Joel wrapped up his run of shows at Madison Square Garden, and celebrated his 150th show there by bringing out another Rock icon: Axl Rose of Guns N’ Roses!

They performed three songs together- a Billy Joel tune, and GNR tune, and a helluva cover of AC/DC’s “Highway to Hell”, because, why the hell not?

Behold:

“You May Be Right”:

“Live and Let Die”:

And… “Highway to Hell”:

Billy Joel on guitar, though. Hot damn!

How freaking cool would it have been to see that live?

Thank God for technology, so that we can experience it second-hand.

It’s better than nothing!

Carrie Underwood ROCKS!

There really is no end to Carrie Underwood’s talents.

She got to open up for Guns N’ Roses over the weekend in Canada over the past weekend, and naturally, she added some Rock covers into her setlist and she pretty much killed it on everything from Motorhead to Led Zeppelin.

Check it out!

Motorhead: “Ace of Spades”

Led Zeppelin “Rock and Roll”

Joan Jett “Bad Reputation”

Pat Benetar “Hit Me With Your Best Shot”

Rolling Stones “Wild Horses”

Not too shabby, right?

It’s just fun to see this side of Carrie- who usually gives major Country Barbie Vibes- and see her let loose and get her rock on.  She can totally handle it vocally and performance wise.

As a Rock and Country fan, color me impressed!

Honestly, I prefer this side of Carrie, as opposed to a lot of her Country music of late.

Can we get a Rock album next?

I’d so be down.

Or at least a Carrie/Axl collab on a song.

Come on, universe. Make it happen!

Axl Rose and Carrie Underwood Rocking Out!

I’m really envious of Carrie Underwood.

Not just those pipes and those legs, but getting to perform with Axl Rose (One of my Rock Idols) several times recently? I mean, DAMN, girl.

#RESPECT

I love that Carrie has this side of her. I always wrote her off as a prissy girly-girl, but damn can she rock.  Turns out she’s a big fan of Classic Rock and metal, and she can certainly deliver the goods.

It’s really cool to see the “other” side of Carrie.  This combined with her love of fitness and red wine, well, hot damn, maybe we can be friends after all!  She’s been gaining some serious cool points with me lately.

Oooohhhh… maybe a Rock album is in her future?

I would support the fire out of that.
