weekend in texas

Kacey Musgraves isn’t making us wait for new music.

She put out her latest album “Middle of Nowhere” earlier this year, where she gets back to her Country roots, and this week just announced the second part of her album.

“Middle of Nowhere Vol 2: Tex Mex Tapes” will be out next year, and she released a couple of songs off the 16 song project including “Weekend in Texas”- check it out below.

This is the Kacey Musgraves I fell in love with. That smooth, honey-tinged voice, clever, fun lyrics, and just a total vibe.

The riding the disco ball testicles are a bit much for me, but her music? Especially lately? I’m all for it.

“Middle of Nowhere Vol 2: Tex Mex Tapes” drops January 15th.
