The Grammy-award winning Country artist has been teasing new music this past week, and just dropped her saucy new song “Dry Spell” and a hilariously innuendo-filled video.
Enjoy:
LOVE IT!
And being an Army wife in the middle of a deployment, yeah, I relate.
I really love this version of Kacey- the funny, offbeat, and controversial Kacey rather than the Acid-tripping, introspective Kacey.
I mean, all versions of her are great, but this is where I love her best. I’m also digging the more natural look. She got the lip fillers out, and is showing off her ridiculous natural beauty.
Only she can make a camo hoodie, basketball shorts, socks and sandals look hot AF.
And, of course, with this new song comes a new album with collabs with Miranda Lambert, Willie Nelson and Billy Strings.
So, basically, it’s going to be Epic.
Kacey’s new album “Middle of Nowhere” comes out May 1st, and I, for one, cannot wait.
A couple of weeks ago, I had the chance to chat with Country artist Kelly Daniels when he came to town, and he played a song for me called “The Farrier” which was about to drop.
Of course, being a horse girl, I was all ears when I heard that title, and when he played it live, I was NOT disappointed:
For those who don’t know what a farrier is (bless your sweet little hearts) it’s someone who shoes horses, as well as takes care of their hooves. An “Equine Manicurist” if you will.
The song is based on a true story when Kelly was playing a rodeo, and met a farrier who was hot shoeing a horse, and they got to talking and had a heart-to-heart, and that’s how that song came about.
Pretty cool, right?
Also, here’s my genuine reaction after hearing this song for the first time:
Luke Combs made his big announcement this morning- his highly anticipated new album “The Way I Am” will be dropping on March 20th, and of course, he has to put out a new single to go with the announcement.
It’s the fan-favorite “Sleepless in a Hotel Room”, and yes, it’s a certified banger.
I mean, of course it is.
Well, damn son.
And there’s his next #1 hit.
Luke says that this could be his best album yet (Really, would he say otherwise?) but if the other songs are as good as “Sleepless in a Hotel Room” it wouldn’t be a lie.
We’ll find out March 20th!
Also, Luke is hitting the road this year with Dierks Bentley and Thomas Rhett on his “My Kinda Saturday Night” tour- get dates here: http://Lukecombs.com
Luke Combs is gearing up for a new album in 2026… and he just dropped a song that you’re going to be hearing at weddings for the next few decades at least.
It’s called “Giving Her Away”, and it’s a fresh twist on your typical Father/Daughter wedding song dynamic:
Well, ok.
Not my contact lenses getting all itchy with tears.
Luke Combs never misses… pretty much everything he outs out hits the mark.
He’s got a big 2026 in store, and you get get tour dates and other info at Lukecombs.com
Megan Moroney is one of the hottest rising stars in Country Music right now, and she is keeping that momentum up with a gorgeous new song called “Beautiful Things”:
I feel like that’s a song most people can relate to.
I know I certainly can… I was pretty heavily bullied at school growing up, then in college, and heck, even as an adult it can happen in the workplace or, anywhere, really.
This song serves as a reminder that you’re a rockstar, and really, those that are picking on you, well, that’s just a reflection on THEM.
Not you.
And to anyone currently being bullied… it DOES get better.
Trust me.
That being said, “Beautiful Things” is just a taste of what’s to come with Megan’s new album, which is almost finished.
In the meantime, you can enjoy her latest release- a live album from her “Am I Ok?” tour.
Up-and-coming Country artist Lakelin Lemmings- who just happens to be from my hometown of Henderson, TN, just released a new single, and… it’s perfect.
Even better? The music video takes place in my Alma Mater Chester County High School’s parking lot!
This song totally nails small-town teenage life on the head.
Check it out!
Ok, LOVE the song. Her voice is fantastic, expressive, and has that true Country sound. The production (and the video!) are great as well.
Growing up in Henderson, TN and hoping to move back when my husband retires, this gives me all the feels.
The parking lot was where it was at 25 years ago when I was in high school, and I’m happy to see that some things never change.
I remember driving my parents’ Chevy Dually blaring Kid Rock’s “Devil Without a Cause” Dr. Dre, and Britney Spears, and always taking 2 spaces to park.
Living all over the country as an Army wife and radio personality, I can honestly tell you that there truly is no place like home.
