Fleetwood Mac’s “Rumors” if it Were Recorded in the 1950’s

Happy Friday!

I just came upon this YouTube video that reimagines Fleetwood Mac’s iconic 1977 album “Rumors” as a 1950’s album, and somehow, it totally works:

Why is this so good, though???

I may have this on repeat all weekend.

Shout out to YouTube Creator @marceve76 for this. And they have many more 50’s style iconic albums here https://www.youtube.com/@marceve76  if you want to go down the rabbit hole this weekend.

Enjoy!

Miley Cyrus “Secrets”

Miley Cyrus continues to impress me.

I used to simply be annoyed by her. But these past few years, she has really proven herself as an artist. She’s not only an incredible vocalist, but also a songwriter and visionary.

She just released the deluxe version of her latest album “Something Beautiful”, and there’s a few new tracks on there.

The one that stood out to me is her song “Secrets”- which features Mick Fleetwood and Lindsey Buckingham formerly of Fleetwood Mac.

Yeah, that’s major.

The song is apparently a peace offering to her father Billy Ray Cyrus, who she has separated herself from these past few years.

Enjoy:

I absolutely love that song- and the whole Fleetwood Mac vibe that it gives.

Also, Fleetwood Mac is her dad’s favorite band, so that’s why she got Mick and Lindsey involved.

Pretty cool, right?

Miley says there is freedom in forgiveness, and she’s absolutely not wrong.

Check out the deluxe version of “Something Beautiful” out now.

Way to continue to slay!!!

Stevie Nicks and Harry Styles Live in London!

Well, this was a cool surprise.

Stevie Nicks was performing at Hyde Park in London Friday night when she was joined by Pop star Harry Styles for a couple songs.

If you recall, Harry performed with Stevie at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction ceremony a few years back, and they joined together again to perform “Stop Dragging My Heart Around and “Landslide”:

Ahhhhh… so good! Stevie, who is in her mid-seventies- still has it going on!

And she’s working on new solo material, and possibly a new album, so stay tuned!

Seriously, though, I love her and Harry Styles together.

Stevie is pure magic.

Slash and Chris Stapleton Cover Fleetwood Mac’s “Oh Well”

Well, this was a pleasant surprise this morning.

Slash and Chris Stapleton just released a cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Oh Well” and it’s absolutely killer.

I mean, really, how can you go wrong with Slash and Chris?

Simple. You can’t.

Seriously, how badass is that?

The collab is off of Slash’s new solo project “Orgy of the Damned” which comes out on May 17th.

So, basically, Slash shredding as he does, with dfferent vocalists on each song, like his last solo project.

Sounds pretty damn promising.

Also, Chris Stapleton will be the musical guest on “Saurday Night Live” tomorrow night, with Ryan Gosling as the host.

If they don’t do a version of “I’m Just Ken”, I’ll be sorely disappointed.
