Jelly Roll Debuts New Song at Grand Ole Opry

Jelly Roll is EVERYWHERE these days. On your radio, on your tv, and he’s basically taking over with his Country/Rock vibe and big (no pun intended) personality and amazing backstory.

He’s one of the few artists that gets regular airplay on Country, Rock, Top 40, and Adult Contemporary radio.

That in itself is a huge deal.

Well, last night, at The Grand Ole Opry, he debuted a new, unreleased song to see how it went over, and I have a feeling it’ll be on his next project.

Check out “Liar” below:

According to the fans’ reaction, it definitely has big hit potential.

Jelly is on a roll (Yes, bad dad joke) and shows no signs of stopping.

Carrie Underwood Pays Tribute to Toby Keith With “Should Have Been a Cowboy”

Carrie Underwood is always pretty much flawless.

She continued her long streak of stellar vocal performances last night at The Grand Ole Opry with a tribute to the late, great Toby Keith with a pitch-perfect rendition of “Should Have Been a Cowboy”:

I love how Carrie can be pure Country one minute, Gospel the next, and then rip a Guns N’ Roses song to shreds.

Also, her legs are basically National Treasures.

I’m pretty sure Toby Keith would be proud!

Let’s be real, it’s a world better than Brooks and Dunn’s tribute at the CMT Awards last weekend:

Now, I LOVE me some B&D, but something was definitely off there. Sammy Hagar honestly had the best tribute that night, and he’s not even a little bit Country.

Hey, we all have our bad nights, right?

But yeah, Carrie Underwood, though.

Kind of rude that she gets that voice AND those legs, though.

I kid.

Mostly.

Tanya Tucker Rides a Horse Onto the Opry Stage!

Ever since I was a kid, I have loved Tanya Tucker. Not only is she a great Country singer-like, total LEGEND status- but she has always been an equine enthusiast as I have been since pretty much birth.  She actually used to show Arabian Horses, which is the breed I’ve always been into, but lately has moved onto Friesians, which, really, unless you are super rich, good luck affording one!  They’re like the Onyx Unicorns of the equine species.

Anyhow, Tanya made quite the entrance at the Grand Ole Opry Friday night, riding her Friesian Stallion onstage!

Tanya was at the Opry to promote her new album “Sweet Western Sound” which came out this past Friday.

Always a total QUEEN!
