Miranda Lambert “Crisco”

Miranda Lambert has entered her “Country Disco” era, and I am ALL for it.

Miranda recently signed with MCA records, and it looks like she’s going for a fun new sound for her next project.

I’ve always been a fan of Miranda’s since the start, and I’m really enjoying her song that she just released called “Crisco”.

It just makes me so damn happy.

How much fun is that?

With how serious and messed up our world it, songs like this add some much needed glitter to our lives.

No word on a new album, but I’m sure we’ll hear something soon!

Get your party pants pressed.

Carrie Underwood and Motley Crue Performing “Home Sweet Home”

Last night was the Season 5087 (or something like that) finale of “American Idol”.

First off, Hannah Harper won it, as she should.

She was definitely my favorite from what I had seen of the show this past season.

During the finale last night, which was 3-hours long, there were loads of specials guests and performances.

The one I was curious to see was Carrie Underwood with Motley Crue, as they were to perform “Home Sweet Home” together.

I’ve been a Crue fan since I was a kiddo, but Carrie is who owned the stage last night:

Poor Vince Neil.

He tried.

I know he’s had health struggles lately, and kuods to him for giving it a go.
But Carrie.

Holy freaking moly.

Girlfriend can ROCK.

Then again, she did open up for Guns N’ Roses on tour a couple of years ago.

Now you see why.

Let’s get a Carrie Underwood rock album out, like, right now.

Also, do you think those chaps are regulation?

Might want to wear them to the next horse show.

I kid.

Sabrina Carpenter and Stevie Nicks Performing “Landslide” at the Met Gala!

The 2026 Met Gala was this past Monday night in New York City, and it’s basically a gathering of super rich and famous people showing off how much money they have.

Which, cool, if I were rich, I’d probably do the same.

Anyhow, this video surfaced of pop singer Sabrina Carpenter and the QUEEN Stevie Nicks performing “Landslide” together, and it’s pretty dang impressive:

Stevie still looks and sounds incredible, and I sometimes forget how talented Sabrina actually is.

Most of her recent hits don’t show off her vocal skills (just her overt sexuality) and I want more of this from her in the future.

But also, Stevie Freaking Nicks.

So cool to see these two major artists from different generations share the stage.

Talent never goes out of style.

“Dutton Ranch” Official Trailer!

Ok, I’m officially seriously excited.

“Dutton Ranch”- the latest “Yellowstone” spinoff- is coming this month, and the first official trailer was released today!

The new show follows Beth and Rip as they start a new life in Texas, and from watching the trailer, it looks good as HELL:

Annette Benning AND Ed Harris are in the show?

Taylor Sheridan knows how to bring the star power, that’s for sure.

Get ready for more drama, and more of my favorite hot mess Beth- “Dutton Ranch” hits Paramount + on May 15th.

Kacey Musgraves and Miranda Lambert “Horses and Divorces”

This totally NEEDED to happen.

Kacey Musgraves released her new album “Middle of Nowhere” this past Friday, and on it, there is a collab with Miranda Lambert called “Horses and Divorces” and I’m kind of in love.

If you weren’t aware, the two were friends, had a falling out over “Mama’s Broken Heart” which Kacey wrote and Miranda recorded and took to #1… not sure of the details, but stuff had gotten a bit messy.

Anyhow, they’re friends again, and they recorded this gem:

So fun! I love horses and drinking… I’m not divorced, but we can still hang, right?

Kacey is on the road this year, and you can get the dates here: http://kaceymusgraves.com

I love that women in Country music are taking over this year.

As they damn well should.
