Lainey Wilson “Phone, Keys, Wallet” Music Video

I’m not sure if this is creepy, hilarious or both.

Ok, Imma just go with both.

Lainey Wilson just released the music video for her latest hit song “Phone, Keys, Wallet”, and I was NOT expecting this.

Lainey is pretty much decapitated the entire time.

I mean, it’s creative, if nothing else?


Ok, I laughed a lot, but I’m still creeped out.

Disembodied heads are always a no for me.

But, again, props for creativity, and I do love Lainey’s sense of humor and her ability to not take herself seriously.

Maybe headless Lainey Wilson Halloween costumes will be hot this year?

NeNe Royal ROCKS “Seven Nation Army” on “America’s Got Talent” Finale

Well HOT DAMN.

I missed out on “America’s Got Talent” this Summer because, well, life.

Apparently, a winner was crowned for the 2026 season, and the title goes to 16 year-old NeNe Royal from Thailand.

Oh. My. Goodness.

This performance during the finale of her covering The White Stripes “Seven Nation Army” is… woah.

I was NOT expecting this level of badassery.

George Strait Wrangler Ad

Well, damn George.

Country LEGEND George Strait just did a new ad for Wrangler, and at 74, it’s safe to say that The King of Country still has it going on.

Enjoy:

First off, I’m a huge fan of both George and Wrangler… I have a ton of their Willow Riding jeans.

Also, I love that George is the real deal. He is a rancher, grew up ranching, and is the perfect person to represent the brand, as he has done for decades.

For instance, his ad from 1995:

Some things are just timeless… like Wranglers and George Strait.

Carrie Underwood Joins Guns N’ Roses in Atlanta!

Damn, Carrie Underwood can ROCK.

I mean, most of us were already aware as she has performed many rock covers in the past, and has even joined Guns N’ Roses on tour as an opener a couple of years ago.

Well, this past weekend, she joined GNR again in Atlanta, and DAMN, did she slay…

That is a hard, hard song to sing. Not for Carrie, though.

Oh, and here she is on “Sweet Child of Mine”:

Ok, why Axl Rose didn’t just let Carrie finish out the song is beyond me, as obviously, he’s not capable of the vocal pyrotechnics that it takes to do it as he used to be.

Anyhow, rumor is that Axl is now Carrie’s “mentor” and is helping her get into the Rock genre.

Does that mean a full shift from Country? Or perhaps just something like a covers album?

I’d honestly prefer just a cover album… but hey, it’s her call.

I just think it’s a cool juxtaposition to see someone all sweet and holy like Carrie rock the face off people.

Also, her legs.

Just, woah.

Miranda Lambert “Two Things Can Be True”

I am ALWAYS here for new Miranda Lambert.

She’s getting us ready for her upcoming “Country-Disco” era with her new album “Crisco”, which comes out October 2nd, and she just released a perfect Country heartbreaker with “Two Things Can Be True”.

Getting alllll the Patsy Cline vibes with this one:


YESSSSSSSSSS.

The song is written by Miranda, Jesse Frasure, Natalie Hemby, Ilya Toshinskiy and her husband, Brendan McLoughlin – who was super rude to me at a concert of her last September.

But whatever. I don’t care about him. Just the fact that Miranda Lambert is a certified Country baddie, and I absolutely cannot wait for her new album.

Also, I’m sure that you probably are aware the she co-wrote the MASSIVE hit “Choosing Texas” with Ella Langley, right?

One hell of a year so far, and this album is shaping up to be damn good, like pretty much everything that she does.

The Heartbreakers Featuring Chris Stapleton at The Americana Awards!

Last night, it was “The Americana Awards” at The Ryman in Nashville, and what a great surprise… The Heartbreakers with Chris Stapleton on the vocals.

Yes, The Heartbreakers as in Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.

The Heartbreakers received the Americana Music Association’s Lifetime Achievement Award last night, and what a way to celebrate.

It was their first reunion since Tom’s passing in 2017, and who better to take on the vocals than Chris Freaking Stapleton?

As a HUGE Tom Petty fan and a big fan of Chris Stapleton, this has me all kinds of happy.

I know Chris is a totally different vocalist than Tom Petty was, but it’s still awesome to see.

Lainey Wilson Performing “Amazing Grace” for the 9/11 25th Anniversary Tribute.

This past Friday was the 25th anniversary of the attacks on 9/11.

Still hard to wrap my mind around the fact that it has been that long.

To honor and remember those who we lost on that terrible day, there was no shortage of beautiful tributes.

My personal favorite so far?

Country megastar Lainey Wilson’s performance of “Amazing Grace” for the ABC and the 9/11 Memorial & Museums’ “Tribute in Light”.

Just, wow.


Absolutely stunning.

Lainey’s voice is so pure and truly Country, and she did a beautiful job. I love that she didn’t try to overdo it, as so many vocalists seem to do.

This performance isn’t about showing off, after all, but about paying tribute to our country and those who lost their lives and loved ones 25 years ago.

If you’d like to see the tribute in it’s entirety, you can now stream “9/11 Tribute in Light” on Disney + and Hulu.

Carrie Underwood Covering Limp Bizkit’s “Break Stuff”!

Ok, I did NOT see this one coming.

Carrie Underwood covering Limp Bizkit?

Really?

Now, I know the woman can ROCK- I mean, she opened up for Guns N’ Roses a few years back, and she really slayed it. And she’s also a Heavy Metal fan, which I think is awesome.

I just didn’t see her trying to cover Limp Bizkit, but props for thinking outside the cover song box!

Well, alrighty then…

She also went on to perform songs from Linkin Park, Collective Soul, and Papa Roach, but her take on Limp Bizkit is what’s getting the most attention.

I love how she cut out the curse words… because, well, Carrie.

I think it would have been cooler to cover “Nookie”…

Anyhow, the performance is getting mixed reactions, but I think it’s fun.

I mean, good for her for doing something different.

This is pretty cool…

As we all know by now, we lost Dolly Parton almost two weeks ago… still not over it… and with College Football kicking off the season this weekend, The University of Tennessee honored Tennessee’s Queen with a halftime tribute.

Tennessee didn’t just win the game against Furman yesterday 56 to 9, but they also won a lot of hearts.
