Kelly Clarkson “Creep” Live

Kelly Clarkson can’t miss!

Kelly is currently doing her “Studio Sessions” residency in Las Vegas, and as she always does, she sprinkles some stellar cover songs in her set. She did a fabulous version of Radiohead’s “Creep”- which I LOVE that song- and Kelly Clarkson totally made it her own, and even had a little fun with her band at the beginning:

Damn, woman.

I just love her.

She’s performed that version of “Creep” many times, but it never gets old to me.

Here’s an example of another fantastic version of the song:

You can get more Kelly Clarkson on her new show “Songs and Stories” on August 16th on NBC.

Long live the vocal Queen!

Rod Stewart’s Bizarre Tribute to Ozzy Osbourne

Well, this is…special?

After Metal legend Ozzy Osbourne’s passing a few weeks ago, tributes have been pouring in.

Perhaps the most memorable so far?

Rod Stewart’s.

On the day of Ozzy’s passing, Rod did a tribute by dedicating his Bob Dylan cover “Forever Young” to him.

Well, he decided to go a little further this past weekend at his show in Atlanta.

He added an AI twist that noone ever asked for.

Just watch:

@iamsloanesteel Last night I went to a Rod Stewart concert and he played this “tribute” to Ozzy. The selfie sticks in heaven?!! XXXTentacion?! #ozzyosbourne #rodstewart #XXXTentacion ♬ original sound – Sloane Steel

WTFFFF?

I mean, props for creativity, I guess?

Did we really need this?

I can’t be the only one mildly creeped out by this, right?

What do you think… cool idea? Or just really freaking wierd?

I may have nightmares now.

Tim McGraw “King Rodeo”

Tim McGraw’s catalogue is seriously one of the biggest soundtracks to my childhood.

And at 58, he’s showing no signs of slowing down on the hits with his new song “Dear Rodeo”.

It was just released as a live version from the inaugural Music City Rodeo earlier this year, and it’s giving some “Desperado” vibes:

Damn, Tim is good live.

And I think that song is one of his best yet. Giving me some chills over here.

The song is likely part of the Bull Riding TV series that Tim was supposed to be a part of, but then he had a bunch of major surgeries this year that took him out of the project.

Hey, at least we got this killer song from it, so it’s not a total loss, right?

As far as Tim’s recovery from the surgeries, it looks like he’s doing well, and he was seen last week going into a recording studio (and rocking a shaved head, too) so I’m guessing more new music is on the horizon?

Stay tuned!

Zach Top “South of Sanity”

Thank you, Baby Jesus, once again for Zach Top!

Zach burst onto the Country Music scene last year, and has been blazing a trail through all of the bro-Country with his perfect 90’s Country style.

Thank GOD.

His new song, which just dropped this morning, is totally giving George Strait’s “I Can Still Make Cheyenne” and I am HERE for it.

All of it.

Well, now, that’s real Country music, and I’m just thankful for artists like Zach who are bringing that glorious sound back to Country Radio.

We’ll get more of this on his upcoming album “Ain’t in it for My Health” which drops August 29th.

Chappel Roan “The Subway”

Damn, Chappel Roan keeps ’em coming!

Last night, she dropped a new ballad called “The Subway” with a really cool video to match.

I’m really loving this song, and it’s haunting, 90’s inspired sound:

Damn, this woman is so talented.

I love how her songs are perfect Pop, with a unique twist.

She’s a total breath of fresh air on the music scene, and I can’t wait for more!

Ozzy Osbourne’s “Crazy Train” as a Bluegrass Song!

With the passing of the Rock and Metal legend Ozzy Osbourne last week, so many tributes have been pouring in.

As they should be.

One that got my attention was a new cover of Ozzy’s “Crazy Train” done in Bluegrass style by singer and stage actress Robin Adele Anderson and E.W Harris, and one hell of a bluegrass band.

I’m kind of digging this:

The musicianship in that version is badass.

Kudos to all involved!

Chris Stapleton on “Sesame Street”!

Well, this is special.

Country Superstar Chris Stapleton just made an appearance on “Sesame Street” and it was, of course, adorable.

Being a momma to a 3-year-old has me all into kid shows lately, so I love this extra!

The song is called “You’ve Got a Friend in Music”:

Awwww… well, that made my Monday just a little bit better!

You can catch this episode and others on HBO Max, where “Sesame Street” lives.

Audrey McGraw Performs Stunning Cover of Heart’s “Barracuda”!

Well, damn.

I’m not sure if you were aware or not, but Country stars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have three daughters. One of them- Audrey- is a singer, because, of course she is.

Before you roll your eyes and say “Nepo Baby”, give this a listen:

Damn, woman.

Very few people can do that song justice. But Audrey seems to have no issues slaying the vocals.

Here’s another video of her singing on tour in Europe, where she is opening for Brandi Carlisle:

Pure talent right there.

No wonder Tim is a proud daddy!

Also, she looks like a brunette version of her mother… woman done went and hit the genetic jackpot!

I’m sure this isn’t the last you’ll hear from Audrey.

“Spinal Tap 2: The End Continues” Trailer!

It’s been a rough week for Gen X, with all of the legends that we had lost…

We needed this.

The official movie trailer for “Spinal Tap 2: The End Continues” just dropped this week… revisiting a classic 41 years later.

Enjoy:

Ahhhhhh!

This makes me so happy.

“Spinal Tap 2: The End Continues” hits theaters on September 12th.

Who else is ready?

LET’S TURN IT UP TO 11!!!!

Or, hell, 12!!!!

Luke Combs “Back in the Saddle”

I’ve been waiting for this…

Country superstar Luke Combs just made Friday that much better with his highly anticipated new single “Back in the Saddle”.

He’s taken some time to spend with the family before dropping some new music- which I totally respect.

Check out “Back in the Saddle” and it’s pretty damn cool, and so is the video:

If that doesn’t get you fired up, well, that’s a you problem.

Also, Luke’s voice is just next freaking level.

Stay tuned for more announcements from Luke in the future… pretty sure we have another major album and tour for 2026.
