Kelly Clarkson “Weren’t For the Wind”

You know I love me some Kellyoke, because, basically, Kelly Clarkson can song anything and make it her own.

If you’re not familiar with the phenomenon, Kelly Clarkson- on her talk show “The Kelly Clarkson Show”- covers different songs almost daily, and almost always knocks them out of the ballpark and beyond.

Her latest Kellyoke slay?

Her version of Country star Ella Langley’s “Weren’t for the Wind”. So, so good!

Enjoy:

Can Kelly just go on and put out a Country album, please?

“Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer” Creed-Style

Tis’ the Season for Christmas music!

That being said, this needs to be added to your holiday playlist STAT.

“There I Ruined It”- one of my favorite online creators- just did a version of “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer” in the style of Creed, and I am living for it:

Instant classic.

Want more of this gloriousness?

There’s a full album called “A Very Ruined Christmas” and you can find out more here: https://www.patreon.com/cw/ThereIRuinedIt

Cheers to the holidays!

Taylor Swift/Chainsmokers “The Fate of Ophelia” Remix

Taylor Swift is on fire (as per usual) with her new album “The Life of a Showgirl” and the #1 song off of it “The Fate of Ophelia”.

I’ll be real. I freaking love this song and the video, and happy, Pop Taylor is where it’s at.

I will die on this hill.

That being said, it’s time for the remix, which involves The Chainsmokers.

Totally vibey:

Yep. That’s going on my workout/horseback riding playlist for sure.

And in case you haven’t existed these past 7 weeks, here’s the OG version and the amazing video:

That has to be one of the best videos of all time.

Sorry, Kanye.

Halestorm and Paul Rogers “Shooting Star”

Ok, this is badass.

Last month, Bad Company released a tribute album, and this now just popped up on YouTube… Halestorm and Paul Rodgers doing one hell of a version of “Shooting Star”:

Honestly, I was never that big of a fan of the original version… just too long, slow and monotone for me… but this version?

It’s definitely got my attention.

Check out more on the Bad Company tribute album “Can’t Get Enough” out now.

Avery Anna Rocks an Ozzy Cover With “No More Tears”

Ok, I may just have a new girl crush.

Rising Country singer Avery Anna just slayed the pants off of Ozzy Osbourne’s “No More Tears” and I’m floored over here.

She didn’t do a Country version either- she went full Rock on it, and I’m just over here like “Hell Yeah, Woman!!!!”

Behold:

I mean, DAMN, woman.

Now she’s got my attention for sure.

Aerosmith and Yungblood “One More Time”

Today is the day!

One of my favorite Rock bands of all time Aerosmith have dropped their EP with British rocker Yungblood called “One More Time”.

And it’s honestly pretty badass.

Here’s the tracks:

Of, course, the single released a few weeks ago “My Only Angel” which is kicking ass on rock radio right now:

“Problems”:

“Wild Woman”:

“A Thousand Days”:

And, naturally, a cover of an Aerosmith classic “Back in the Saddle”:

I’m pretty damn impressed.

Steven, sadly, can’t tour anymore due to vocal issues… but he can still record (obviously) and do a show here and there. I’m happy that they teamed up with the carrier of the Rock torch Yungblood.

Yungblood did have to cancel the rest of his 2025 tour dates due to health issues (Rockstar life, man), but will be hitting the US hard in 2025, and dates are selling out.

Rock and Roll is not dead, people.

Lainey Wilson “Peace, Love and Cowboys” Music Video

Lainey Wilson just released a holiday-themed version of her song “Peace, Love and Cowboys” and an absolutely tearjerker of a video to go along with it…

Well, ok, that was a good Sunday morning cry…

You’re welcome.

You can catch Lainey hosting and performing at the CMA Awards this Wednesday- check it out live on ABC!

Carly Pearce “Dream Come True”

Carly Pearce just released an honest and heartbreaking new song “Dream Come True”, and it’s one of my favorite of hers so far.

It’s real, and not only shows off her pure voice, but also shows the not-so-fun side of fame and what actually happens when your dream comes true.

It’s not always fun and games, kids.

Oooof.

Yeah, that one floored me the first time I heard it.

It’s a good reminder that just because someone seems to have it all, you never know the reality of what’s behind the sparkle.

And there is a sacrifice- lots of them- that comes with fame.  We mortals seem to forget that.

Also, Carly is not only incredible live, but also a really cool, fun person.

And we share the same weird trait of double-jointed elbows:

@meganontheradio Turns out @Carly Pearce and I have something really random in common… #carlypearce #countrymusic #countryradio #radio #radiopersonality #doublejointed #coloradosprings #fyp ♬ original sound – Megan Vaughan

I hope this new single means a new album coming soon?

I’ll keep you posted.

Chris Stapleton “White Horse” Music Video

Better late than never?

2 years after it’s release, Chris Stapleton finally dropped the music video for “White Horse”, and it’s pretty badass.

It stars Josh Brolin, and is basically a mini-action thriller movie.

Enjoy:

Well, that was… intense.

Love the plot-twist at the end.

Can we get more Stapleton movies? (Love the cameos of him and his baddie wife Morgane)

I think they’re onto something here.

I’d share dates for his 2026  leg of his All-American Roadshow Tour, but theyre pretty much sold-out.

Because, Chris Freaking Stapleton.
