Carly Pearce and Riley Green “If I Don’t Leave I’m Gonna Stay”

Is it hot in here, or is it just this damn music video?

Country hotties Carly Pearce and Riley Green have teamed up for a sexy new song called, “If I Don’t Leave I’m Gonna Stay”.

The song is, in my opinion, just ok.

But the video?

Get ready for some thirst trap action:

Well, ok then…

Between this and Kacey Musgrave’s “Dry Spell” that came out this past week, Country Music is getting all kinds of sexy over here.

And before you go thinking that Carly and Riley are hooking up, they’re not. At least that I know of. Carly is very openly showing off her new boyfriend on instagram.

Although, when I saw her last April, she did say that Riley Green is the “most beautiful man”.

She’s not wrong.

Carly Pearce “Dream Come True”

Carly Pearce just released an honest and heartbreaking new song “Dream Come True”, and it’s one of my favorite of hers so far.

It’s real, and not only shows off her pure voice, but also shows the not-so-fun side of fame and what actually happens when your dream comes true.

It’s not always fun and games, kids.

Oooof.

Yeah, that one floored me the first time I heard it.

It’s a good reminder that just because someone seems to have it all, you never know the reality of what’s behind the sparkle.

And there is a sacrifice- lots of them- that comes with fame.Ā  We mortals seem to forget that.

Also, Carly is not only incredible live, but also a really cool, fun person.

And we share the same weird trait of double-jointed elbows:

@meganontheradio Turns out @Carly Pearce and I have something really random in common… #carlypearce #countrymusic #countryradio #radio #radiopersonality #doublejointed #coloradosprings #fyp ♬ original sound – Megan Vaughan

I hope this new single means a new album coming soon?

I’ll keep you posted.

Rascal Flatts and Carly Pearce “My Wish”

Every Friday, new music for the week drops.

I’ve been digging through it, and I have to say, this Rascal Flatts/Carly Pearce collab on Rascal Flatts 2006 hit “My Wish” is really, really good.

I’ll be honest, I haven’t been a huge Rascal Flatts fan- except for some of their earlier stuff, but this version of “My Wish” got my attention:

I love me some Carly Pearce, and damn, Gary LeVox can sing like crazy.Ā  Hence why he changed his last name from Vernon to “LeVox” which means “The Voice” in Old French.

Well, that’s subtle.

Anyhow, out of all the new music that came out this past Friday, this was the song that caught my attention.

Rascal Flatts “Life is a Highway: Refueled Duets” is out now.

Michael Buble and Carly Pearce “Maybe This Christmas”

Tis’ the Season for Holiday Music!

And we just got a beautiful new Christmas song from Michael Buble and Country Star Carly Pearce called “Maybe This Christmas”, and I absolutely love it!

First of all, you can’t go wrong with these two mega-talents.

Secondly, I love that it’s a more somber, poignant song, which differentiates itself from the usually overly cheerful holiday tunes that dominate during the season.

It’s a reminder that not everyone is feeling super festive, and many are lonely during these times. I’ve been there myself, being an Army wife and spending holidays with my husband overseas, and away from my family.

Just a different perspective for the holidays, and completely necessary in my opinion.

Also, remember those deployed durng the holidays, and their families back home- this song definitely makes me think of them all.

And as one of the lines in the song states, “I wish you all the love that your heart can hold”.

Carly Pearce “Truck on Fire”

Carly Pearce has sent her new single to Country radio, and it’s a good, old-fashioned revenge song.

Her new single off her latest album “hummingbird” which came out last month is called “Truck on Fire”, and it’s a departure from what she’s had on Country radio lately. Instead of sad, emotonal songs like her collab with Chris Stapleton “We Don’t Talk Anymore” and her Grammy winning duet with Ashley McBryde “Never Wanted to be That Girl”, Carly ready to get into arson with “Truck on Fire” which is about, well, setting a cheater’s truck on fire. Because, why not?

It’s like the sequel to Carrie Underwood’s 2005 hit “Before He Cheats”. Like, forgetting keying the truck and hitting it with a baseball bat, just light the whole thing up.

That’ll show him.

Although, he probably has insurance…

Personally, I would go after something irreplaceable and sentimental, like his hunting trophies, but that’s just me.

If my husband pulls any dirty tricks, I’m going for the deer heads and turkey beards.

Come on, Nashville, put me on the songwriting roster!

Carly Pearce “Fault Line”

I have to say that this is my favorite song that Carly Pearce has released in a minute.

Carly released the latest off of her upcoming 4th studio album “hummingbird”, and it’s a perfect Country heartbreak song with a little bit of sass. Totlly giving Tammy Wynette vibes with this one:

Well, if that isn’t the perfect little Country bop…

Carly’s upcoming album “hummingbird” comes out June 7th, and it’s gonna be a good one.

Carly Pearce “My Place”

Carly Pearce just released another beautiful break-up song… that’s kind of her thing, of course. Creating beauty out of pain.Ā  If you’re a fan of hers, you know she’s in the aftermath of a divorce from fellow Country star Michael Ray, and she is ending that chapter with a new album called “hummingbird” due out later this Spring. And to get us ready for it, she released a new song off of it called “My Place”, which was written by Carly, Shane McAnally, and Josh Osbourne:

Yup, another winner from Carly.

Except I wouldn’t have left the good wine in his bar. Rookie mistake.

“hummingbird” drops June 14th, and Carly is currently on the road with Tim McGraw- get the dates atĀ http://carlypearce.com

Carly Pearce “hummingbird”

Well, my Friday morning has been made.

Carly Pearce just announced her fourth studio album via Big Machine Label Group! I figured it was coming soon, as she wiped her instagram clean this week- always a good indicator that something is coming.

The new album is called “hummingbird” and is out June 14th. And the title track is absolutely STUNNING:

How gorgeous is that?

I was immediately transported into another world with that song. It’s one that brings it’s own imagery, which is one of my favorite things that a song can do.

Here’s what Carly put on her instagram to tease the song:

I love that so much. It seems like Carly is coming through the tough times beautifully, and I can’t wait to hear the full album

You can also catch her on the road with Tim McGraw this Spring/Summer on the “Standing Room Only” tour, and you can find the dates at http://carlypearce.com

Carly Pearce “We Don’t Even Fight Anymore” Live Acoustic Version

Carly Pearce is one of the best vocalists in Country Music right now, and she has once again proven why in a gorgeous acoustic version of her latest single “We Don’t Even Fight Anymore”.

It’s a song that she shares with Chris Stapleon, but this version that she just released shows that she doesn’t even need Chris’s incredible vocals to make it special.

Also, apparantly she did it in one take?

Masterful.

How good was that, though?nail

I’ve got goosebumps over here.

Carly Pearce is a legend in the making, and I love that she can nail a song and make it come to life with all of the emotion that her voice conveys.

Autotune? AI? Not necessary when you have talent like that.

Carly is teasing more new music for 2024, and like a lot of the newer female artists on the scene, this is just the beginning for her.

Carly Pearce “Heels Over Head”

I have loved Carly Pearce since she first hit the Country scene, and dammit, I love her even more after hearing this song!

It’s called “Heels Over Head” and was released early this morning.

Yasssss…. that song is a sick burn to someone… possibly to whoever dated her ex-husband Michael Ray after the divorce?Ā  You know Carly loves to write about real life.

Seriously, I love what Carly is doing for the Country genre. True Country music, great songwriting, real-life experiences, and a fantastic voice to tell the story. She’s got it ALL.

Also, expect more music from Carly in the future. She’s been teasing new stuff on instagram, and I can’t wait to hear more!
