Chappell Roan and Nancy Wilson of Heart “Barracuda”

Ahhhhhh!

This is so badass.

Pop Superstar Chappell Roan is known for her killer vocals, and for performing Heart’s 1970’s hit “Barracuda” live in concert.

Well, that just got amplified by none other than Nancy Wilson of Heart joining Chappell Roan for a rendition at Forest Hills Stadium in NYC recently.

It rocks just as hard as you would think:

HELL YES!!!!!

So much badassery on one stage.

Chappell Roan is KILLING it!

Catch her on the road- dates are at https://www.iamchappellroan.com/ and Heart has extended their tour- more info at https://www.heart-music.com/

Cheers to the Rock Goddesses!!!

Audrey McGraw Performs Stunning Cover of Heart’s “Barracuda”!

Well, damn.

I’m not sure if you were aware or not, but Country stars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have three daughters. One of them- Audrey- is a singer, because, of course she is.

Before you roll your eyes and say “Nepo Baby”, give this a listen:

Damn, woman.

Very few people can do that song justice. But Audrey seems to have no issues slaying the vocals.

Here’s another video of her singing on tour in Europe, where she is opening for Brandi Carlisle:

Pure talent right there.

No wonder Tim is a proud daddy!

Also, she looks like a brunette version of her mother… woman done went and hit the genetic jackpot!

I’m sure this isn’t the last you’ll hear from Audrey.

Check her out on her insta and here more of what she’s got here:https://www.instagram.com/audreymcgraw/

Chappell Roan Covers Heart’s “Barracuda” in Concert

Chappell Roan is everywhere this year, as she should be.

She burst onto the scene earlier this year with her smash hit “Good Luck, Babe” which is catchy as HELL, and now is heating up the charts with her new single “HOT TO GO”. I absolutely love her music, which is described as “Dark Pop” by some, and her talent is really impressive. If you go down the rabbit hole and check out videos of her before she became famous, trust me, you will be hella impressed.

In the meantime, prepare to be impressed by Chappell Roan’s recent cover of one of her favorite songs- the iconic Heart track from the late 70’s “Barracuda”:

Um, HELLO!

I love how Chappell Roan made it her own, and didn’t try to be exactly like the original. Which is hard for ANYONE to do, as Anne Wilson of Heart is next freaking level vocally.

And let’s talk about her band- some amazingly women are on this stage. I absolutely love seeing this!

Chappell Roan is just getting started… although she says she may quit eventually as fame isn’t really for her. (Can’t blame her there… being famous sounds fun for maybe five minutes, then it sounds horrific.)

That being said, you might want to catch her before she bails… she seems like she puts on one hell of a show.

Heart is BACK!

Heart is BACK!

After a few years apart due to personal issues, Ann and Nancy Wilson seem to have worked out their familial differences, and are ready to rock into 2024.

Their first performance together in a few years happened earlier this week in Highland, California at the Yaamava Casino, and they killed it.

Ann Wilson is 73, and Nancy Wilson is 69.

Let that sink in.

Also, how badass in Nancy’s outfit? I’d totally wear that.

Seriously, these women are amazing, and they will be on the road in 2024 with Def Leppard, Journey, Cheap Trick and The Steve Miller Band.

What a line-up, right?

Ann and Nancy Williams of Heart Performing “Barracuda” Live!

First off, I’m just happy that Ann and Nancy Wilson are on good terms again. For awhile there, there was some family drama, and they were doing some solo stuff, but now they’ve reportedly have been working on some music together once more, and Nancy even joined Ann at the encore of her final show of her solo tour in Santa Rosa this week for their classic “Barracuda”:

Now, before anyone gets salty, Ann is 73, and can still pop some high notes out there. All of them? No. But at 23, that song would be hard to nail, let alone 50 years later. She’s still got some pipes, and Nancy can still slay the strings.

Honestly, I just get so inspired seeing these musicians in their seventies and beyond still killing it.

Kudos!!!

Now I can just impatiently wait for new music from Heart.

I’ll keep ye posted!
