The FINAL Kellyoke: “Golden” from KPop Demon Hunters!

The “Kelly Clarkson Show” has sadly come to an end on NBC after 7 seasons.

The best part of the show, aside from Kelly’s real, fun personality, is the popular “Kellyoke” segment, where Kelly and her band expertly cover a random song.

And they always, always nailed it.

And for the final Kellyoke, Kelly and her band took on HUNTR/X “Golden” from the super popular Netflix series “KPop Demon Hunters”, which is really an almost impossible song to sing, due to it’s sky high sustained notes and difficult breath patterns during the chorus.

Unless, of course, you’re Kelly Clarkson.

Dude.

DUDE.

My throat hurts just imagining those notes.

But Kelly being Kelly made it look easy.

She said it was the most requested Kellyoke song, and she wanted to save it for last.

Safe to say, girlfriend went with on a bang.

For those missing Kelly on TV, you don’t have to wait long for her to come back.

Kelly returns as a coach on Season 30 of  “The Voice” September 21st, on NBC.

Anyone who doesn’t choose Kelly as their coach is insane, ok?

Ella Langley’s Dolly Parton Tribute

The tributes keep pouring in…

As you’re probably aware, the world lost it’s beacon of light Dolly Parton this past Tuesday.

It still doesn’t feel real.

I usually don’t get hard by celebrity passings, but Dolly’s for some reason shook me.

Maybe because she seemed like family, even though we have never met. I think a lot of people felt that way about her.

And the tributes continue to happen worldwide, and the latest that caught my attention is Ella Langley’s version of “Jolene” that the broke out this past Friday night in Auburn, AL.

Soooo good:

@emily.these.days Last night in Auburn, @Ella Langley said, “Tonight’s show didn’t feel right without doing something like this” and proceeded to sing “Jolene” in honor of @Dolly Parton. One of my favorite moments from the night 🦋 #ellalangley #dollyparton #concert #auburn #fyp ♬ original sound – Emily 🦋

Such a cool version. Dolly would approve, I’m sure.

In case you weren’t aware, Ella is one of the biggest stars right now.

Not just in Country music, but worldwide, thanks to her massive hit “Choosing Texas”, which could hit a record 20 weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. (I so hope it does!!!)

And for those living under a rock, here’s “Choosing Texas”:

Anyhow, I’m hating the reason for the Dolly tributes, but I’m sure enjoying seeing some of the best honor THE BEST.

I’m sure Dolly is feeling all the love wherever she is…

Chris Stapleton Dolly Parton Tribute

I’m still not properly processing the passing of Dolly Parton, who left this world this past Tuesday.

Still doesn’t seem real.

The tributes have been pouring in, and the most impressive one in my book?

Chris Stapleton covering “I Will Always Love You” live in concert this past week in Jones Beach.

Behold:

Damn, sonnnnn…

Ok, can we just release that as a single and all proceeds go to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library?

Just call me the Good Idea Fairy.

New Zach Top for the Weekend!

Zach Top just gifted us with a couple of new legit Country bangers yesterday…

He’s got a new album in the pipeline for 2027, and he’s getting us ready with two new songs off of the upcoming project.

Thank you Baby Jesus for Zach Top.

Megan Moroney Performing With The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders!

What Texas dreams are made of…

This past Friday night, Megan Moroney played in Dallas, TX.

It only makes sense that she’d bring out the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, right?

I mean, duh. :

@kayleemasonphotography Just when we thought Megan Moroney’s show was over, the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders came out to perform with her!! ⭐️💙 Megan Moroney + DDC 🙌⭐️💙 The energy in that stadium was INSANE. 🔥✨🎤 #MeganMoroney #Dallas #DallasCowboys #DallasCowboysCheerleaders @Megan Moroney ♬ Am I Okay? – Megan Moroney

Real talk: I LOVE the DCC.

I couldn’t care less about the actual football team, but I love the show, and this performance just made my heart happy.

Is 43 too old to be a DCC?

Oh, and I can’t dance.

Guess I’ll live vicariously through these talented ladies.

Also Megan Moroney’s “Cloud 9” tour continues through the Summer.

Kaitlin Butts “I Wanna Be Bad”

Country music is on fire in 2026.

The two biggest artists in America are Ella Langley and Morgan Wallen. For the first time EVER the Top 5 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 are Country songs. Top 40 Radio is playing Ella Langley’s “Choosing Texas” and Stella Lefty’s “Boston” in heavy rotation.

It’s pretty damn glorious, if you ask me.

Next up on your playlist?

Kaitlin Butts.

She’s one of Ella Langley’s friends- she even makes a cameo in the “Choosing Texas” music video- and has been on the scene for awhile.

Well, now it’s her time to strike.

She just released her new song “I Wanna Be Bad” and it’s so dang fun.

I have a feeling I’ll be playing this one a lot…

How cool is she? I really just want to party with her.

Ok, maybe I’m too old to get down, but I could come out of retirement for a night.

Here’s another one of her songs that hit big earlier this year- which went viral thanks to Ella Langley using it on a Tik Tok video and it being used on an episode of “Landman”.

“You Ain’t Gotta Die (To Be Dead to Me):

I love how unique she is as an artist- and funny as hell.

Her new album “Hello, Honky Tonk” drops October 30th, and she’s on the road big time in 2026.

Get ready for more of this woman. She’s comin’ in HOT!

Guns N’ Roses AND Chris Stapleton!!!

Well, this happened…

Two of my favorites- Guns N’ Roses and Chris Stapleton collided.

GNR and Chris were both playing Toronto this past week,.

So, it only made sense that they would pop up at each other’s shows, right?

ABSOFREAKINGLUTELY!

First, Chris joined GNR for a version of “Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door” which was glorious:

And if that wasn’t enough badassery, GNR joined Chris for a version of “Patience” at HIS Toronto show the next night!

Ahhhh… my little Country and Rock heart is happy.

It would be even happier if they had done “Sweet Child of Mine” or “Paradise City”, but what can ya do?

I’ll take it.

Now if Chris could just make a full Rock covers album, I could die happy.

Universe, ya hear that?!
