Zach Top SLAYS the “National Anthem”

Now THIS is how it’s done…

Country Star Zach Top- who I absolutely adore- sang the “National Anthem” prior to the NFC Championship Game last night.

The Seahawks won, and so did Zach Top with his rendition.

Damn, son.

He just did that beautifully.

Zach Top is here to save Country Music.

Definitely one of the best “National Anthems” in recent times.

Can we get more Country Music in the NFL? Please?

Dolly Parton “Light of a Blue Clear Morning”

What a combination!

Dolly Parton has re-recorded her song “Light of a Blue Clear Morning” with Reba, Lainey Wilson, Miley Cyrus and Queen Latifah.

Dolly did this project to celebrate her 80th birthday, which is Monday, the 19th. And the best part? All proceeds go towards pediatric cancer research.

I honestly can’t think of a better cause.

Loveee!

How about Miley Cyrus, though? That woman continues to impress me more and more every time I hear her.

Again, all proceeds go to the pediatric cancer research at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville.
Add it to your playlist, and do some good!

Dolly for president, ya’ll!

Megan Moroney “Wish I Didn’t”

Megan Moroney is on fire lately, and she’s owning it.

Megan just released a new song off of her upcoming album “Cloud 9” called “Wish I Didn’t”- and fans are wondering who it’s about.

Morgan Wallen? Riley Green?

Either way, the song is super cute and sassy, and I’m loving the video.

Funny that the guy in the video is like a Riley Green/Morgan Wallen hybrid, right???

Whoever it’s about, Megan Moroney knows how to market herself.

“Wish I Didn’t” is off of her “Cloud 9” album, which comes out February 20th.

Megan is also hitting the road this year on an arena tour to support the album- get dates at http://MeganMoroney.com

Brandon Lake and Cody Johnson “When a Cowboy Prays”

This has been a great week for new music.

One collab that I have been really excited about is Christian artist Brandon Lake and Country star Cody Johnson teaming up for “When a Cowboy Prays”.

This song is perfect:

Dang.

That is really good.

Then again, I knew it would be.

We need more of this going into 2026.

Jason and Brittany Aldean “Easier Gone”

Jason Aldean just dropped three new songs off of his upcoming album “Songs About Us”, and one of them is a duet with his wife Brittany.

Fans have been asking for a duet from the couple for years, as Brittany is a pretty solid singer herself, and they finally gave in.

Check out “Easier Gone” below:

Not too shabby…

Did you know that Brittany was once a contestant on “American Idol” prior to meeting Jason?

There’s your fun fact for your Friday.

Jason Aldean’s new album “Songs About Us” comes out April 24th.

Get ready- it’s going to be another BIG year for Country Music!

Bruno Mars “I Just Might”

Bruno is BACK!

The megastar- seriously one of the most talented out there- announced his new album “The Romantic” and dropped the lead single “I Just Might”.

And it’s the fun, danceable pop that Bruno is known for.

Enjoy:

Yep, you’ll be hearing A LOT of this song in 2026.

“The Romantic” drops February 27th, and Bruno has a massive stadium tour to follow- check the dates here:https://www.brunomars.com/

Happy Friday!

Luke Combs “Sleepless in a Hotel” Room

Luke Combs made his big announcement this morning- his highly anticipated new album “The Way I Am” will be dropping on March 20th, and of course, he has to put out a new single to go with the announcement.

It’s the fan-favorite “Sleepless in a Hotel Room”, and yes, it’s a certified banger.

I mean, of course it is.

Well, damn son.

And there’s his next #1 hit.

Luke says that this could be his best album yet (Really, would he say otherwise?) but if the other songs are as good as “Sleepless in a Hotel Room” it wouldn’t be a lie.

We’ll find out March 20th!

Also, Luke is hitting the road this year with Dierks Bentley and Thomas Rhett on his “My Kinda Saturday Night” tour- get dates here: http://Lukecombs.com

Avery Anna “No More Tears”

This is badass.

Country singer Avery Anna went viral last year with her cover of the late, great Ozzy Osbourne’s massive hit “No More Tears”, and it got her a ton of attention- as it should, because she SLAYED it.

Well, she listened to her fans, and released a studio version of it, and it’s just as stellar as her live cover.

I think even hardcore rock fans who hate Country music (you know who you are) can get down with this:

That goes hard.

As a rock fan and a Country fan, I appreciate the hell out of that.

This is just the beginning for Avery Anna, and you can find out more about her, get tour dates, etc. at https://www.averyannamusic.com/

I can’t wait to see what she does next. She’s such a great talent.

4 Non Blondes Perform “What’s Up” Live on New Years Eve!

Happy New Year!

In case you missed it last night, “Dick Clark’s New Years Rockin’ Eve” featured a performance of the 1993 smash “Whats Up” by the 4 Non Blonde’s, and they freaking KILLED it.

33 years later, this song has definitely stood the test of time.

Ok, how damn good does Linda Perry sound? And look? She’s what, 60?

What a baddie.

Also, we will finally be getting another album from them this year- hence them being featured on the show.

After hearing Linda rip those vocals out like 33 years hasn’t passed, I’m really looking forward to hearing more.

Oh, and Linda will also be putting out a solo album as well.

2026 is sounding great already!

Miranda Lambert Performing the Ella Langley Hit “Choosin’ Texas”

I am loving this!

Miranda Lambert took to the stage in Oklahoma this past weekend, and busted out a live version of the Ella Langley hit “Choosin’ Texas” (Which she co-wrote) and added her signature Texas twang to it:

@jlga456 #choosentexas #mirandalambert ♬ original sound – jlga456

Miranda Lambert and Ella Langley are the new dream team.

Also, Ella says that more collabs with Miranda are coming in the future, which is a great thing.

If you haven’t heard Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas”, well, educate yourself:

Women back on Country Radio, and the 90’s Country sound is making a comeback.

It’s a glorious thing.
