Megan Moroney “6 Months Later” Music Video

Megan Moroney has another hit on her hands with “6 Months Later”, and the music video that she just dropped will definitely help.

As usual, it’s adorable and sexy and spunky- all the things Megan Moroney is:

Cute, right?

Megan is almost done with her new album, and rumor has it, it’s freaking good.

Stay tuned!

Lainey Wilson “Somewhere Over Laredo” Official Music Video

Lainey Wilson’s new song “Somewhere Over Laredo” is one of my favorite Country songs right now… and the video that she just dropped for it?

A whole lot of YES.

Ok, I love that she rides a Palomino horse in the video (as I have one as well).

Also, that ball cap with the conchos she wore in the beginning?

NEED!!!

“Somewhere Over Laredo” is off of Lainey’s upcoming Deluxe version of her latest album “Whirlwind” which comes out on August 22nd.

In the meantime, Lainey’s whirlwind continues it’s upward trajectory, and you can see where she’s at next at http://LaineyWilson.com

Shenendoah “Sunday in the South” Remake With Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean

A couple of months ago, Shenandoah teamed up with Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean for an updated version of their classic #1 1989 hit “Sunday in the South”, and they just released the music video for the song, and it’s a solid recreation of the original- both the song and video:

Being a 90’s Country fan, I appreciated the heck out of that.

Also, I prefer Luke Bryan singing songs like this, instead of songs about beer and shaking your butt for a catfish, but that’s just me.

The video was filmed in Liepers Fork, TN, which is my home state, and reminds me of my hometown of Hnederson, TN, and I tell you, I could really go for some Bells Drive-n right know.

If ya know ya know.

Shenandoah is thankfully still going strong, and still on the road.

Kacey Musgraves “The Architect” Music Video

Earlier this year, Kacey Musgraves released her latest album “Deeper Well”, and one of the standout songs on it is “The Architect”.

Easily one of my favorite songs of the year.

Beautifully written and sung, and just one of those perfect songs that I would not change a thing about.

Kacey finally released the music video for it today, and it’s just as beautiful as the song:

Can I look like Kacey in my next life? Can I speak to the architect?

Gwen Stefani “Somebody Else’s” Music Video

Gwen Stefani released her fifth solo album “Bouquet” this past Friday, and she’s still got it!

Her new songs are catchy, fun, and give a glimpse into her life with husband Blake Shelton, and are perfect for the Adult Contemporary format.

I’ve been a fan of Gwen since the mid-nineties when I discovered No Doubt, and I just thought that she was the coolest human ever, and she’s still got it going on decades later.

Her latest single is “Somebody Else’s”, and she released the music video today, and it’s beautiful. All flowers, and horses and Gwen looking gorgeous, as always!

Of course, I’m always giving bonus points to anything with horses…

I’m happy to see that Gwen is still doing her thing, and doing it well.

Her new album “Bouqyet” is out now.

Dwight Yoakam and Post Malone “I Don’t Know How to Say Goodbye” (Bang Bang Boom Boom)

I’ve been waiting on this for a minute…

Dwight Yoakam has teamed up with Post Malone for a collab called “I Don’t Know How to Say Goodbye”, and the official music video just dropped today, and it’s everything I hoped it would be!

I love that Malin Aikerman and Nina Dobrev are in the video, and I love even more that Post Malone and Dwight Yoakam are riding horses down Sunset Boulevard.

Is it just me, or is Post Malone’s equitation better than Dwight’s?

I’m a horse girl, so I notice these things.

The single is off of Dwight Yoakam’s upcoming album “Brighter Days” due out November 15th.

Look, if Dwight is into Post Malone, I think that settles the argument of whether or not Post Malone belongs in Country.

Argument over.

Ella Langley Feat. Riley Green “You Look Like You Love Me” Video

Ella Langley is one of the ones to watch in Country Music, and this music video for her song with Riley Green “You Look Like You Love Me” will just solidify her in the industry.

First of all, I love the song- it’s pure Classic Country- and the video is perfect:

Does anyone alse think Riley Green needs to be a character on “Yellowstone”, or at least on a spinoff?

He’s totally giving off Spencer Dutton vibes.

“You Look Like You Love Me” is easily one of my favorite Country songs of the year so far, and I have a strong feeling you’ll hear a lot more from Ella Langley in the future.

Anyone else super happy that the Classic Country sound is making a comeback?

It’s a beautiful thing.

Lainey Wilson “Wildflowers and Wild Horses” Offical Video

Ahhhh! I’ve been waiting for this video for a while now, and it’s everything I hoped it would be!

Lainey Wilson JUST released her offical music video for “Wildflowers and Wild Horses” and it’s badass, just like she is!

LOVE!!!

Also, woman can RIDE, so mad respect to her. She’s the real deal!

Absolutely fantastic video, and definitely worth the wait!

Also, she’s pretty much the sweetest- check out an interview I did with her a while back:

How can you not love her?

Billy Joel “Turn The Lights Back On” Official Music Video

Billy Joel is back on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart for the first time in decades with his first single in 31 years ‘Turn the Lights Back On”.  The release was well worth the wait, as it is a great song, and classic Billy Joel, really.  He even performed it at The Grammy Awards a couple of weeks ago to a well-deserved standing ovation.

Well, it just go better with his music video for “Turn the Lights Back On”- now THIS was a great use of AI, as it’s basically Billy Joel throught the years performing the same song:

Ok, for some reason I started tearing up at this.

My entire life, I’ve loved Billy Joel- he has always been a staple- and seeing this is strangely poignant.

Maybe I’m just emotional this morning, or just feeling my middle age, but this video hit me hard.

Dammit, Billy Joel.

But seriously, how great is this video?

I’m totally down with AI if it’s used like this.

Cody Johnson “The Painter” Music Video

One of my favorite songs of the past year is Cody Johnson’s “The Painter”, and he just released the music video to it, and it’s basically the love story between he and his wife Brandi, to whom he has been married to for fourteen years.

Of course, the video makes sense, as Brandi is who inspired the beautifully written love song.

Way to up the game for all the guys, Cody!

Ad in case you missed it, here’s Cody’s tribute to his wife at the CMA Awards last November:

I still get choked up watching this.
