Morgan Wallen and Miranda Lambert Performing “Cowgirls”

Well, this is cool…

Morgan Wallen is on his “I’m The Problem” stadium tour in support of his massive album by the same name (which is spending it’s 6th week on top of the charts) and this past weekend in Madison, Wisconsin, he brought tourmate Miranda Lambert onstage for a duet.

Now, Miranda co-wrote his #1 hit “Thought You Should Know”, and it would make sense that they would perform that song together, right?

Nope- fans got a surprise when they performed Morgan’s song “Cowgirls” which is a collab with ERNEST, but Miranda filled in perfectly.

@welcome_to_mww Miranda Lambert joined Morgan Wallen to perform “Long Live Cowgirls” last night on the ‘I’m The Problem Tour! #imtheproblemtour #morganwallen #mirandalambert ♬ original sound – MorganWallenWorld

Damn, why do I love that song so much?

And Miranda is one of my all-time favorites, so this was fun for me to watch.

Morgan’s “I’m the Problem” stadium tour has just started, and I’m pretty sure it’s going to be one of the biggest of the year.

Long Live Cowgirls!

Ella Langley Feat: HARDY “Never Met Anyone Like You”

Ella Langley is on fire right now.

The Country star- who gives ALL the Jessie Colter vibes- is enjoying another Top 10 hit right now with “Weren’t For the Wind”, and is giving her fans what they want.

New music. Like, right now.

She’s been teasing a song called “Never Met Anyone Like You” this past week, and she released it this morning.

She has HARDY on the background vocals, which doesn’t hurt:

I love how this song goes from sweet and simple to a total rock twist at the end.

Did NOT see that coming.

At first, I was like, “mehhh…ok.” But that twist at the end got me.

GO ELLA!

People are thinking that this song is about Riley Green?

I’m thinking it could…

What say you?

Alex Warren and Rose’ “On My Mind”

It being Friday, there’s a lot of new music dropping, and this duet by Alex Warren and Rose is really catching my attention.

It’s called “On My Mind” and I’m thinking it will be in heavy rotation on Top 40 and AC radio stations soon… as it should be:

The more I listen to it, the more I love it.

Alex Warren is currently spending his third non-consecutive week on top the Billboard Hot 100 with “Ordinary”, so this is the perfect time to release this collab.

Honestly, there are some really great artists and songs on Pop Radio right now, and I’m loving it!

Lainey Wilson “Somewhere Over Laredo” Official Music Video

Lainey Wilson’s new song “Somewhere Over Laredo” is one of my favorite Country songs right now… and the video that she just dropped for it?

A whole lot of YES.

Ok, I love that she rides a Palomino horse in the video (as I have one as well).

Also, that ball cap with the conchos she wore in the beginning?

NEED!!!

“Somewhere Over Laredo” is off of Lainey’s upcoming Deluxe version of her latest album “Whirlwind” which comes out on August 22nd.

In the meantime, Lainey’s whirlwind continues it’s upward trajectory, and you can see where she’s at next at http://LaineyWilson.com

Motley Crue Featuring Dolly Parton “Home Sweet Home”

Motley Crue have teamed up with Dolly Parton for a new version of their 1985 classic “Home Sweet Home”, because, well, why not?

I mean it’s Dolly.

Dolly still has it, ya’ll!

The remake is to promote Motley Crue’s career-spanning compilation album “From the Beginning” which comes out September 12th.

Megan Moroney “6 Months Later”

Megan Moroney is on fire!

She’s easily on of the hottest Country stars out there right now, and for a few weeks she has been teasing a song called “6 Months Later” on her socials, and she released it this morning.

Enjoy!

I love her sound, and her songwriting skills are on point.

Megan says she’s about “80 percent done” on her next album, and it’s safe to say it will be a hit.

Women are killing the game in Country Music, and I couldn’t be happier.

Ed Sheeran “Drive”

Ed Sheeran never misses.

He just dropped his new song “Drive” off of the upcoming “F-1” Movie soundtrack, and it’s freaking GOOD. Of course, you have John Mayer on guitar and Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters on the drums, so it’s kind of hard to mess that combo up.

Check it out:

Dave Grohl’s drums are always a win.

I have a feeling the movie will be, as well. “F-1” stars Brad Pitt, and is expected to be one of the big Summer blockbusters this year.

“F-1” and the soundtrack both come out next Friday, June 27th.

Vroooom!

Kelly Clarkson “Damn I Wish I Was Your Lover”

Again, this woman can sing ANYTHING.

Kelly Clarkson covered Sophie B. Hawkins’s hit “Damn I Wish I Was Your Lover” and, naturally, she killed it.

Enjoy:

I love that she put a bit of a rock spin on this song… seriously, is there anything she can’t sing?

I really want to hear cover Metallica’s “Nothing Else Matters”.

Let’s make this happen!

Zach Top “Good Times and Tan Lines”

Alan Jackson, that you?

Zach Top- one of the most promising up-and coming Country artists that actually sounds like (gasp!) Country- just dropped the official Summer Country banger.

It’s called “Good Times and Tan Lines” and it’s almost a carbon copy of Alan Jackson’s 90’s Summer Smash “Chattahoochie” and that’s not a bad thing.

Enjoy:

Such a fun song, and again, total Alan Jackson vibes, and that’s ok.

Country music needs more of this.

Zach Top’s new album “Ain’t In it For My Health” drops August 29th.

Oh, and last year, I had the chance to interview Zach right before he blew up, and he’s an absolute doll.

I am so happy for all of his success… well deserved!

Rascal Flatts and Carly Pearce “My Wish”

Every Friday, new music for the week drops.

I’ve been digging through it, and I have to say, this Rascal Flatts/Carly Pearce collab on Rascal Flatts 2006 hit “My Wish” is really, really good.

I’ll be honest, I haven’t been a huge Rascal Flatts fan- except for some of their earlier stuff, but this version of “My Wish” got my attention:

I love me some Carly Pearce, and damn, Gary LeVox can sing like crazy.  Hence why he changed his last name from Vernon to “LeVox” which means “The Voice” in Old French.

Well, that’s subtle.

Anyhow, out of all the new music that came out this past Friday, this was the song that caught my attention.

Rascal Flatts “Life is a Highway: Refueled Duets” is out now.
