Carrie Underwood Performs “I Will Always Love You” at the CMA Dolly Parton Tribute

Did you watch the CMA Dolly Parton Tribute last night?

It was SO dang good.

So many stories, tributes and stellar performances by some of the biggest names in Country Music.

The icing on the cake?

Carrie Underwood performing Dolly’s iconic “I Will Always Love You” at the end, and all the other performers join her at the very last part.

Chilllllssssss…

Carrie’s voice is something, isn’t it?

Not fair that she gets that AND those legs…

If you haven’t seen the tribute yet, it’s definitely worth a watch this weekend- it’s streaming on Hulu.

I’m sure Dolly is smiling in Heaven at this.

Miley Cyrus Dolly Parton Tribute

This past weekend, Miley Cyrus performed for the first time since 2022, taking the stage for two nights at The Hollywood Bowl, and she did a sweet tribute to her Godmother, the late, great Dolly Parton, who sadly passed away this past August.

First she told a pretty cool story involving her experience with Dolly at the Hollywood Bowl:

She then followed up her story by performing “Jolene”:

Soooo good.

Miley is one of those artists who has definitely grown on me these past few years, and has really proven herself as an incredible talent.

Also, rumors are swirling that she could be the next Super Bowl Half-Time Show performer…

I’d totally be down with that.

Lainey Wilson “Kinda Love It”

Lainey Wilson just dropped a new song inspired by her husband Devlin “Duck” Hodges called “Kinda Love It” and I kind of do, too!

Lainey and “Duck” got married earlier this year, and they just seem like the funnest couple ever. He reminds me so much of my own husband, especially with the outdoors obsession, and I can totally relate to the song AND the video.

Check it out below:

How fun are they?

I can tell you, that’s the real love right there.

What I’m wondering is, with this new song, is Lainey planning a new album?

I thinking maybe, as tomorrow is her last concert that I see on her calendar until May…https://www.laineywilson.com/tour

Stay tuned!

Miranda Lambert and Ella Langley “Snakeskin Boots”

I’ve been waiting for this album for months, and it’s finally here!

Miranda Lambert released her latest album “Crisco”, as she’s officially entered her “Country Disco” era, and it did NOT disappoint.

I mean, it’s Miranda.

She never does.

She teamed up with her friend and songwriting partner Ella Langley for a collab called “Snakeskin Boots”, and it’s so damn fun:

You can’t go wrong with Miranda and Ella.

They co-wrote “Choosin’ Texas” after all, which is spending a 24th week at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100- more weeks than any other song in history.

So, why not keep that magic going?

Check out “Crisco” available everywhere now.
