Post Malone is gearing up for the release of his upcoming Country album “F-1 Trillion” and did a live show in Nashville earlier this week at Marathon Music Works. He debuted several new songs, including “Yours”, which he wrote about his 2-year-old daughter getting married one day, and how he will feel if that happens.
As a mother, this basically slays my heart:
Oh, my heart!
You will be hearing this at ALL the weddings for the next couple of decades.
Seriously, I am so impressed with Post Malone and how he’s moving into Country music.
I absolutely cannot wait for his album “F-1 Trillion”, which drops August 16th. He will, of course, have a tour to follow, and you can get those dates at http://Postmalone.com
The “Twisters” movie soundtrack comes out tomorrow- same day as the movie- and it’s chock full of awesomeness!
We’ve gotten several great songs so far from Luke Combs, Lainey Wilson, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett, and now we have Jelly Roll’s song from the soundtrack called “Dead End Road” that came out today!
It sounds a lot like Jelly’s latest #1 “Halfway to Hell”, but it works.
I, for one, really like Jelly Roll’s music. I know there are some haters out there, but I like what he’s putting out, and it’s relatable to so many.
Country isn’t all just cowby hats and twang, there’s more to it, and Jelly is proving it!
Here’s the full track listing of the “Twisters” soundtrack:

“Ain’t in Kansas Anymore” – Miranda Lambert
“Steal My Thunder” – Conner Smith (feat. Tucker Wetmore)

The full soundtrack, again, will be out tomorrow, same as the movie, and I’ve been hearing great things from the people who have screened it early, so go check it out!
Stevie Nicks was performing at Hyde Park in London Friday night when she was joined by Pop star Harry Styles for a couple songs.
If you recall, Harry performed with Stevie at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction ceremony a few years back, and they joined together again to perform “Stop Dragging My Heart Around and “Landslide”:
Ahhhhh… so good! Stevie, who is in her mid-seventies- still has it going on!
And she’s working on new solo material, and possibly a new album, so stay tuned!
Seriously, though, I love her and Harry Styles together.
This should really be “Song of the Year” at the 2025 Grammys.
One of my favorite creators “There, I Ruined It” just did a parody of Kermit the Frog performing Snoop Dogg’s “Gin & Juice”, and Lordy, is it something to behold:
Total Masterpiece, am I right?
This has been in my head all morning, and now I lovingly transfer it to yours.
Katy Perry is back, and she’s not playing any games.
She just released her new single “Woman’s World”, which is the lead single off of her upcoming album “143” out September 20th.
It’s super fun, and reminds me of her earlier days- lots of sass and cathcy hooks.
As a woman, of course I love it. Because, let’s be real, women are pretty rad when you think about it. I mean, we can give life, work hard, kick ass, and just do a few things that men can’t.
Don’t hate, appreciate!
Also, how badass does Katy look?
I’m just happy that she’s returning to the infectuous Pop that she started out with, and I’m really looking forward to the new album.
I’m a HUGE Aerosmith fan, and I get a bit twitchy when someone attempts to properly cover anything sung by Steven Tyler. But Kelly Clarkson and that sick voice of hers just ripped out a version of Aersosmith’s 80’s Power Ballad “Angel”, and it’s something else:
Ummmmm… can she cut that as a single please?
What’s so impressive is that she’s singing all these covers on her show completely live.
No autotune, no gimmicks, just pure, raw talent from the OG American Idol winner.
Kudos Kelly!
Check out the “Kelly Clarkson Show” weekdays on NBC.
Her latest album “The Tourtured Poets Department” is spending it’s 11th week at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart, with millions of copies of sold so far. Some people are complaining that she keeps releasing different versions of her album to keep the top spot, but so what? People are buying it. That just makes Taylor one hell of a business woman, which we already knew that.
Taylor also just released an acoustic version of her latest single “Fortnight” featuring Post Malone, and it’s just as hauntingly pretty as the original:
Damn, that song is such a mood.
Woman is unstoppable, and sorry haters, you’re gonna see a hell of a lot of her at the Chiefs games this Fall, as she and the NFL have made the schedules so that she could attend as many Chiefs games as possible to cheer on her boyfriend Travis Kelce.
