Post Malone Feat. Morgan Wallen “I Had Some Help”

Who else has been waiting on this?

Post Malone is making the move to Country Music- I mean, who isn’t these days?

But I’m cool with it. I think he’s a great artist, and honestly, you can’t help but like the guy.

The first song off his upcoming project is the new single with Country Megastar Morgan Wallen.

It’s called “I Had Some Help” and it’s catchy as all get out.

You knew it would be, with those two behind it:

I like it. I really do. I wish there wasn’t as much autotune on it, as neither of those guys need it, but it’s 2024, and that’s how producers roll these days.

I smell an easy #1 hit.

What do you think about the new Posty Collab?

Stay tuned for more, as his Country project is slated for later this year.

Miranda Lambert Debuts New Song “Wranglers” Live at StageCoach!

Here’s more footage that I had found so far:

I am SO excited for this new single, which drops this Friday, May 3rd. And since Miranda signed with Republic Records recently, it’s a safe bet we’ll get a new album soon.

Oh, but you know what ELSE happened?

Miranda surprised fans again when she did a 3-song medley with Reba McEntire!

I don’t know f I can handle all of this badassery.

Motley Crue “Dogs of War”

Motley Crue is moving on from Mick Mars with their first recording with new guitarist John 5 with their new release “Dogs of War”.

Now, I love me some Motley Crue. Especially the “Theater of Pain” and “Dr. Feelgood”  eras.

And I was kind of excited when I heard the opening guitar riff, thinking, “Oh, heck, this could be good”.  And then there was kind of a letdown aferwards.

I mean, it’s not horrble. But Vince Neil’s vocals are super distorted (probably because his singing isn’t up to par, and hasn’t been for years), and it reminds me of bands that were trying to hard to be “hard” in the late 90’s/early 2000’s.

At least, that’s the vibe I caught from it.

That being said, kudos to them for keeping the Crue Train rolling, and I’m looking forward to more new music from them. They just signed with Big Machine, so I have a feeling some good stuff could come from that.

Taylor Swift “The Alchemy”

Taylor Swift’s highly anticipated new album “The Tortured Poets Department” is here, and Swifties are losing their damn minds.

First of all, it’s a surprise double album, as Taylor dropped an extra 15 songs at 2am, which is cool.

And naturally, there’s a song about curren beau Kansas City Tight End Travis Kelce on there (duh) called “The Alchemy”:

“Where’s the trophy? He just came running to me.”

Well done, Tay Tay.

Also, the lead single off of the album is “Fortnite” featuring Post Malone:

So, yeah, you’ll be hearing that ALL over the radio.

Now, I’m not what you would call a “Swiftie”, but I do respect and admire Taylor and what she has done in her career.  A lot of her music isn’t my cup of tea, but she does have some great songs that will forever have a spot on my permanent playlist (hello, “Wildest Dreams”!). I think Taylor is an incredibly impressive woman, and definitely a great role model.

So, play on Taylor, and keep kicking ass and taking names.

And bringing home them trophies!

Post Malone Covers Garth Brooks “Friends in Low Places”

Post Malone just threw us another Country Bone with a recent cover of Garth Brooks’ iconic “Friends in Low Places” in the studio while working on his Country project.

And, of course, it’s DAMN good.

Like, really good.

Ok, I hope he releases a cover of that with the guys he’s working on his Country album on, like Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, ERNEST, etc.

That needs to happen, am I right?

Also, Posty needs to stop teasing us, and release his Country project already!

Or at least a full song.

I’m not picky.

Slash and Chris Stapleton Cover Fleetwood Mac’s “Oh Well”

Well, this was a pleasant surprise this morning.

Slash and Chris Stapleton just released a cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Oh Well” and it’s absolutely killer.

I mean, really, how can you go wrong with Slash and Chris?

Simple. You can’t.

Seriously, how badass is that?

The collab is off of Slash’s new solo project “Orgy of the Damned” which comes out on May 17th.

So, basically, Slash shredding as he does, with dfferent vocalists on each song, like his last solo project.

Sounds pretty damn promising.

Also, Chris Stapleton will be the musical guest on “Saurday Night Live” tomorrow night, with Ryan Gosling as the host.

If they don’t do a version of “I’m Just Ken”, I’ll be sorely disappointed.

Terri Clark and Ashley McBryde “Better Things to Do”

Did you hear?

90’s Country Icon Terri Clark has a new project coming out called “Terri Clark: Take Two”, which is kind of a re-imagining of her greatest hits featuring some of the biggest female Country stars of today with her on some of her greatest hits.

Growing up on Country Music in the 90’s, Terri Clark was a staple on the radio, and hearing this made me all giddy.

She has teamed up with everyone from Lainey Wilson to Lauren Alaina to Ashley McBryde, and she just released her version of “Better Things to Do” featuring Ashley, who I love.

Check it out!

Cool, right?

I loved this song in Junior High, and full disclosure… I once dedicated this song on the local Country radio station in Henderson, TN to my first “boyfriend” who broke up with me because I was too annoying.

It went over like a turd in a punch bowl, but I made my point.

Oh, good times…

To be fair, 13-year-old me was kind of a weirdo, so I kind of get why he dropped me.

But still… rude.

“Terri Clark: Take Two” drops on May 31st, the same day that the Tom Petty Country tribute “Petty Country” comes out.

Needless to say, I’m pretty dang stoked!

Post Malone Teases New Collab With Morgan Wallen!

Yep, Post Malone is for real going Country.

And you know what? I certainly ain’t mad at it.

So, last week he teased a possible collab with Luke Combs called “Missin’ You Like This”:

Scott Stapp Feat. Dorothy “If These Walls Could Talk”

First off, big S/O to one of y fav listeners Ken for alerting me to this song!

Scott Stap- you know, the lead singer of Creed- just put out his solo album “Higher Power” this past Friday, and on it, a gorgeous collab with Dorothy, who is pretty much everything.

The song is called “If These Walls Could Talk”, and Ken is right. It’s damn good:

Oooohhhh… chilllllssss….

I really love Dorothy- she is one total badass, and Scott still sounds great. I know he’s been through some stuff, so it’s good to see him back and seemingly doing well.

Bon Jovi “Legendary”

As a child of the 80’s and 90’s, naturally I’m a Bon Jovi fan. I mean, how can you NOT be? One of the greatest American Rock bands, and like many of them, they are still going strong.

This morning, I was pleasantly surprised to see not only a new song from the legendary band, but also an album announcement!

The new single “Legendary”, written by Jon Bon Jovi, Billy Falcon, and John Shanks, is basically a reflection of where Jon is in his life at 62.

He recently underwent surgery on his vocal chords, and during the break, he said he had time to re-evaluate his life, and recognize the things that really matter. And the song is a tribute to his wife Dorthea, who has been by his side since the beginning, hence the “Brown Eyed Girl” reference.

I love it! Just an overall happy song, and I am lucky to be able to relate, as I write this with my beautiful two-year old son stealing my phone and throwing it on the kithcen floor after sneezing on it, and my Husky snuggling my feet.

It’s the little things in life that matter.

We so often forget that.

Bon Jovi’s 16th studio album- and their first in four years- “Forever”- comes out on June 7th.
