Luke Combs “Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma”

Dammnnnn, Luke Combs!

He jus sang the brakes off of this song.

It’s called “Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma” and Luke wrote it for the upcoming  “Twisters” movie soundtrack, and it his hard:

I’ve been so used to Luke’s love songs, beer songs and now dad songs (and the endless airplay loop of his version of “Fast Car”) that it was kind of a pleasant surprise to hear some real rocker vibes on this track.

Dude has some serious pipes, and I’m so happy that this is his new radio single. I can jam to this all damn day.

“Twisters” – the sequel to the 1996 Tornado Classic will be out July 19th.

Chayce Beckham Interview!

I was lucky enough to get to chat with “Amercian Idol” Season 19 Winner and Country Star Chayce Beckham, and seriously, SUCH a nice guy, and he’s got quite a future ahead in the industry, especially coming off of his first #1 hit “23”:

I absolutely LOVE that song, which, by the way, he was the solo writer on it.

We talk about that and more in the interview below:

Aaaah! Week = Made.

Also, in case you haven’t heard it yet, here’s Chayce’s latest single “Everything I Need”:

Singers Falling Down the Stairs

One of my favorite YouTube Channels is “There I Ruined It”, and they just released another masterpiece called “Singers Falling Down the Stairs”.

This gave me a good chuckle this morning:

Hilarious, right????

I especially love the Tom Petty and James Hetfield.

Check out https://www.youtube.com/@ThereIRuinedIt and subscribe- I absolutely love their content!

Lainey Wilson “Hang Tight Honey”

Lainey Wilson just made Monday a little sweeter…

She just dropped a new song off her upcoming album “Whirlwind”, and it’s a feisty one.

It’s called “Hang Tight Honey” and it’s exactly what I had hoped for:

Yes! I love it! Lainey Wilson is on a hot streak, and shows no signs of slowing down.

Her new album “Whirlwind” comes out August 23rd, and she has also announced her own bar “Bell Bottoms Up” which will be taking over the FGL House off of Broadway in Nashville.

You know you’re killing the Country game when you get your own bar in Nashville.

Carly Pearce “Fault Line”

I have to say that this is my favorite song that Carly Pearce has released in a minute.

Carly released the latest off of her upcoming 4th studio album “hummingbird”, and it’s a perfect Country heartbreak song with a little bit of sass. Totlly giving Tammy Wynette vibes with this one:

Well, if that isn’t the perfect little Country bop…

Carly’s upcoming album “hummingbird” comes out June 7th, and it’s gonna be a good one.

The Beatles “Let It Be” Official Music Video

The older I get, the more I appreciate The Beatles.

For the longest time, I had “The Rolling Stones > The Beatles” mentality, but as I get older, and slightly more melow (slightly), I am finding more enjoyment it The Beatles’ catalouge.

So, upon seeing this today, I wanted to share in case you haven’t realized that this now exists… an actual music video for the iconic Beatles track “Let it Be”!

It was released yesterday, and it’s from the “Get Back” Beatles documentary now streaming on Disney + which was directed by the legendary Peter Jackson.

This music video was compiled from in-studio footage from the day after their Apple Corps. London rooftop concert in 1969.

Pretty cool, right?

Definitely one of my favorite Beatles tunes.

Great advice- if only I could sctually learn to take it!

Zach Top Interview

Earlier this year, Zach Top exploded onto the Country scene seemingly out of nowhere with his song “Sounds Like the Radio” which is a tribute to the “Glory Days” of Country Music in the Mid-90’s.

As soon as I heard the song, I knew it would take off, and look at that, every now and again I’m right!

“Sounds Like the Radio” is now in the Top 40 on the Hot Country charts, and if you haven’t heard the song yet, let me enlighten you:

90’s Country Perfection, right???

And Zach Top himself was kind enough to join me on the air this week, and he is SUCH a sweetheart.

Seriously, how can you not love him?

I am so excited about what the future has in store for him, and to see him on the road this Summer with Dierks Bentley.

Post Malone Feat. Morgan Wallen “I Had Some Help”

Who else has been waiting on this?

Post Malone is making the move to Country Music- I mean, who isn’t these days?

But I’m cool with it. I think he’s a great artist, and honestly, you can’t help but like the guy.

The first song off his upcoming project is the new single with Country Megastar Morgan Wallen.

It’s called “I Had Some Help” and it’s catchy as all get out.

You knew it would be, with those two behind it:

I like it. I really do. I wish there wasn’t as much autotune on it, as neither of those guys need it, but it’s 2024, and that’s how producers roll these days.

I smell an easy #1 hit.

What do you think about the new Posty Collab?

Stay tuned for more, as his Country project is slated for later this year.

Kate Hudson Covers “Voices Carry” to Perfection!

Damn, Kate Hudson can SING!

I mean, we already knew that as she’s releasing her first ever album soon, but hearing her take on the 80’s Til’ Tuesday Classic “Voices Carry” on “The Howard Stern Show” this week, well, I am seriously impressed.

Get it, girl!

That is NOT an easy song to sing. Kate kept it close to the original while adding something extra to it.

Also, that band is really good as well.

Kate Hudson’s debut album “Glorious” comes out on May 17th.

Reba McEntire “I Can’t”

Well, this was a pleasant surprise…

Reba McEntire released an anthemic new song called “I Can’t” and it proves that Reba still has IT.

I honestly feel like that is one of the best songs Reba has had in a while. Anyone who has been in a relationship of any kind where they were being mistreated can relate. Hell, I’ve been there, and this song had me saying “Helllll Yessss, Reba!!!!”

Also, she’s 69, and still sounds incredible.

Need more proof?

She performed the song last night on “The Voice”, and just owned the damn thing.

Freaking QUEEN, that is all.

Also, she’s got a Comedy ordered by NBC called “Happy’s Place”.

So, no signs of stopping for this amazing woman.
