I’ve been really excited about this one… and definitely NOT disappointed in the least now that it’s here.
Ella Langley teamed up with Miranda Lambert to write a 90’s vibing honkytonk banger called “Choosin’ Texas”, and it’s perfect:
How great is that? I just adore Ella Langley… her voice and style is just what Country Music needs. Also, she’s absolutely stunning, which doesn’t hurt.
Also, rumor has it that this song is about Riley Green and Megan Moroney… even though Ella is from Alabama, and Megan is from Georgia… so I’m not how much that actually checks out. Although, she did put out the single’s cover which is very similar to the paparazzi photo of Riley and Megan driving in his hometown in Mississippi…
So who knows? Or maybe the cover art was just to drive extra interest to the song.
Either way, I love it, and I can’t wait for Ella Langley’s next album, which most likely be out next year.
