Country/Rock star HARDY just released a tearjerker of a Country song called “Dog Years”, written from the perspective of a beloved rescue dog at the end of his life.
HARDY had written this song over a decade ago as a tribute to his beloved dog, and it just proves once again his songwriting skills:
Are you crying? You should be.
As a dog mom, who has once lost her best friend, and who now has a 10-year-old rescue coming into his twilight years, this hits hard.
What I love about HARDY, aside from the fact that he can bounce back and forth to Country to Rock seamlessly, is his songwriting ability.
He had me crying halfway through this song, which is the mark of a great writer.
It’s the emotion, people!
“Dog Years” is off of HARDY’s upcoming album, “Country! Country!” which drops this upcoming Friday, September 26th.
Well done, son!
