One of my favorite Country ladies of the 90’s- Terri Clark- just released her album “Terri Clark: Take Two”, which is all of her biggest hits reimagined with some of today’s hottest Country stars, and it’s everything I had hoped it would be!
One of my favorite collabs on the album: Terri Clark with Lainey Wilson on “Poor, Poor Pitiful Me”.
The song was originally performed by Warren Zevon, then by Linda Ronstadt, and Terri Clark’s version was a big 90’s Country hit.
The new version with Lainey Wilson adding her strong, twangy vocals is pretty dang awesome:
Aaaaahhhh! My 90’s Country loving heart his happy.
The whole album is great, and features everyone from Ashley McBryde to Cody Johnson to Kelly Clarkson and is out now.
